As the famed Jeremy Clarkson once said, “Speed doesn’t kill. It’s suddenly becoming stationary that does.” And while Top Gear is known to do the ambitious but rubbish tests, the program’s cousin Fifth Gear thought they’d show the world what happens when a car goes from 120 mph to zero.

The Honda CR-Z Mugen is pretty much everything that the original Honda CR-Z should have been. Power for the Honda CR-Z Mugen will come from a 1.5L i-VTEC gasoline engine that will get a supercharger, pumping output to 200-ps (197-hp) with a maximum torque of 181 lb-ft.

While diesel sales are on the rise in the United States, Americans are still a bit hesitant when it comes to shopping diesels – which is why we miss out on such impressive diesel models like the Infiniti M30d, currently on sale in the UK.

Powered by a 3.0L V6 diesel making 234-hp with a maximum torque of 405 lb-ft. That allows the Infiniti M30d to go from 0 to 62 mph in 6.9 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph. Mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission with manual mode, fuel-economy comes in at 22.8/40 mpg (city/highway) or 31 mpg combined.

Tiff Needell test drives Pagani Zonda R

Before Pagani puts the Zonda supercar to rest, Fifth Gear host Tiff Needell wanted one last crack at it. In the latest segment of Fifth Gear, Tiff gets behind the track oriented Zonda R to give it his last farewell.

The Pagani Zonda R recently beat the Ferrari 599XX’s Nurburgring lap time of 6:58.16 and managed to return 6:47.5.

Fifth Gear's Jonny Smith test-drives the 2011 Audi A1

2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS reviewed by Fifth Gear

We’ve already seen Top Gear’s review of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS and we weren’t too sure why Richard Hammond decided to pin the Camaro SS against the E 63 AMG – we guess they just happened to have both on the set at the same time.

Either way, the other automotive TV show on FIVE, Fifth Gear, has released their review on the Camaro SS, which will take over Europe early next year.
