The special edition Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport comes with a two-tone exterior with a yellow body and carbon fiber trimming. There are also black wheels with silver accents making us believe Bumblebee just received a big power and class upgrade.

On the inside, the color scheme is carried over with yellow leather and black trim.

Power comes from a W16 engine making 1,001-hp with a maximum torque of 921 lb-ft. Mated to a 7-gear DSG gearbox, 0 to 62 mph comes in 2.7 seconds with a top speed of 253 mph.

There will be only one model produced with prices starting at $2.03.

Hyderabad is pretty affluent city in India with a population of almost 7 million people. The nominal GDP of Hyderabad metro was estimated at $15 billion (USD) in 2010, so it’s pretty obvious the people that live in Hyderabad are pretty well off.

A motorcycle driver recently spotted a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport at Shamshabad International Airport in Hyderabad making an attempt to go over speed bumps. The driver obviously succeeded but it’s pretty painful to watch nonetheless.

“It is Bugatti’s intention to honour the very important Middle East market with this threefold variety and to provide its highly exclusive clientele in the Middle East an insight into how creativity and inspiration can be successfully driven to individualised luxury,” Bugatti said in a statement.

The first of the three special-edition Grand Sport models is a  horizontal color split with a bright yellow body and a underside in visible black carbon, including black-tinted wheels. The car features Bugatti founder Ettore Bugatti’s favorite color. The inside is finished in yellow-colored leather with black stitching and black carbon on the center console. Prices for this model start at 1.58 million euros ($2.15 million USD).

The second model is also a two-tone horizontal color split consisting of visible blue carbon, framed in polished, anodised aluminium. The wheels come in an aluminium polished and Diamond Cut two-tone finish. This Veyron Grand Sport also gets mirror-shine aluminum finish grills and air intakes. The inside features a nice tangerine leather and dark blue Indigo leather or exposed blue carbon fiber door panels, dashboard, steering wheel and console. Prices start at 1.74 million euros ($2.36 million USD).

Last but not least, the third Grand Sport model comes in a new green carbon fiber tone with polished aluminum. The rims, exterior mirrors and even the EB-logo at the rear are finished in polished aluminium. On the inside, this version features green and silver finishes. Prices also start at 1.74 million euros ($2.36 million USD).

Bugatti plans on making a total of 150 units of the Veyron Grand Sport. So far, only 45 have been sold.

In the closing days of the Bugatti Veyron or perhaps any car, it has almost become customary for manufacturers to unveil a special edition model to mark the end of a production run. However, for the Bugatti Veyron, the next potential model that could be produced to truly mark the end of the Veyron and make way for the Galibier sedan is said to be impossible at the time being. The impossible being a Veyron Super Grand Sport, meaning a range-topping Super Sport but with its head cut-off.

In a press conference with Bugatti’s (and Bentley’s CEO) Wolfgang Durheimer, he said that a convertible Super Sport Veyron is impossible because the car’s structure was tuned specifically in favor of aerodynamics while the car’s carbon-fiber unibody is there to promise maximum torsion rigidity.

So thus, despite the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport having the stiffness to pull-off a convertible version, Durheimer said that it doesn’t have enough structural rigidity to have its head cut off with a folding roof of some sort. There are also “aerodynamic difficulties” concerning the airflow to the massive, quad-turbo W16 engine.

Instead of offering a Veyron Super Sport convertible, Durheimer also added that Bugatti is working on a more powerful version that will get closer to producing 1,200-hp.

As for the never-to-be convertible SuperSport, let’s just hope that some ambitious owner doesn’t pull a Billy Idol and take a chainsaw to the roof.

Bugatti fans will have to find something new to daydream about Three-hundred units of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 model were produced, and just recently, the last one available was ordered. Scheduled for delivery next fall, the vehicle is headed for Europe.

In 1998 the Volkswagen Group bought the Bugatti name’s rights. One year later a concept car was debuted at the Tokyo motor show, which was the concept that would eventually become the Veyron.

Making this car unique amongst all others, the Bugatti Veyron is the premiere production car to feature a full carbon-fiber monoque. The special support system houses an 8.0-liter W16 motor that puts out the four digit horsepower figure of 1,001-hp and 922 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed twin-clutch transmission, and all that power will get you from 0-62mph in just 2.5 seconds.

Those with a serious need for speed had an option to upgrade to the Super Sport, which puts out 1,200-hp and 1,106 lb-ft of torque.

All 300 units sold for at least $1,700,500 in the U.S.

The Grand Sport, the world’s fastest convertible, to continue Bugatti tradition Molsheim, 24 June 2011 – The final Bugatti Veyron has now been ordered by a European customer, marking an end to the triumphant reign of the supercar with an exclusive production run of 300 models and its even faster cousin the Super Sport. The coupé versions of the Veyron are worthy successors to the heritage of classic Bugattis, now collector’s items of unparalleled status and optimum appreciation, which today are amongst the most valuable cars in existence.

But the story of Bugatti’s exceptional sports car is set to continue. The Grand Sport, a supercar with the very highest technical specifications, remains available to automotive connoisseurs. In its closedtop incarnation with a transparent roof it reaches top speeds of 407 km/h; with the roof removed a maximum speed of 360 km/h makes the Grand Sport the fastest convertible in the world.

The development of the Bugatti Veyron represented one of the greatest technical challenges and engineering achievements in automotive history. Volkswagen bought the rights to the Bugatti brand in 1998, and just one year later the company presented its fourth concept vehicle, the close-to production study EB 18/4 Veyron at the Tokyo Motor Show. Barely six years down the line, on 29 April 2005, a Veyron exceeded 400 km/h for the very first time, and six months later was presented to its global audience.

The Veyron was and remains a synthesis of superlative technical achievements. It was the first production vehicle to have a full carbon-fibre monocoque, and its torsional rigidity of 60,000 Newton meters per degree remains unparalleled to this day. The 7,993 cm3 capacity sixteen-cylinder engine with its four continuously variable camshafts and four turbochargers is capable of a top speed of 407 2 Bugatti km/h, developing 1,001 PS (736 kW). The seven-gear twin-clutch gearbox governs an unbelievable 1,250
Newton meters of torque, and is one of the fastest transmissions in the world with shift times of less than 150 milliseconds. Acceleration from 0 to 100 takes place in a legendary 2.5 seconds.

With its carbon-ceramic brakes, highly innovative brake cooling system and the rear spoiler which is activated to serve as an additional air brake when braking, this superlative sports car can come to a complete standstill from 100 km/h in just 31.4 metres and 2.3 seconds. The Super Sport boasting 1,200 PS and a top speed of 415 km/h performs the same feat even faster.

The European customer who has bought the 300th Veyron has never purchased a Bugatti before. Delivery is scheduled for next autumn.

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

Bugatti has just released two new versions of the Veyron at the Shanghai Motor Show this week for the Asian markets.

The special edition Grand Sport version with the chop top targa roof was given a special color scheme to differentiate itself from other versions offered in wither the European or American markets. It consists of a matte white paintjob with blue carbon fiber on the lower fenders. The interior receives a similar treatment to the exterior with blue materials and white stitching where applicable.

The second is a Veyron Super Sport, also given special color schemes to equally rarify itself from the others. That receives a black lacquered carbon fiber and cream interior with a black matte exterior.

Refresher: The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport makes a total of 1,200-hp (up from 1,001-hp) with a maximum torque of 1,106 lb-ft. Top speed for the production models will be electronically limited to 259 mph to protect the tires. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is the most powerful and fastest convertible in the world today. Just the three telling figures 736 kW (1,001 PS), 1,250 Nm torque and a top speed of 407 km/h (limited) make it clear that amongst convertibles this car is truly in a league of its own. When opened to the skies, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport reaches top speeds of 360 km/h leaving other convertibles standing in its dust.

Accompanying the sheer thrill of driving with the top down is a quite extraordinary sonorous roar that no other automobile can match. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport presented in Shanghai comes completely in black visible carbon carbon. The details in the polished and anodized aluminum set an excellent contrast as the outer surfaces of the alloy wheels and the EB logos on wheel caps, fuel filler cap and rear lid. The interior of the Super Sport is draped in two-tone “Snow Beige” and “Beluga Black”. Carbon continues as a defining theme in the inside, sheathing the doors and inset in the central console. The rest is in highly exclusive “Snow Beige” leather. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport shown in Shanghai has already been sold to a customer in China.

The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport is the fastest car worldwide

The Super Sport is based on the classic Veyron 16.4 but with an output of 882 kW (1,200 PS) is 146 kW (200 PS) more powerful. Bugatti pilote officiel Pierre-Henri Raphanel last year set a new world speed record for production vehicles on the Volkswagen test track in Ehra Lessien, achieving 431 km/h and an entry into the Guinness Book of Records. The production version is electronically limited to 415 km/h to protect the tires.

The power development of the 7,993 cm3 capacity 16-cylinder engine is made possible by the four enlarged turbochargers and intercoolers. The chassis has also been extensively redesigned, in order to handle the car’s extreme dynamism with safety. With lateral acceleration of up to 1.4 g, the improved interaction between the tyres and the intelligent all-wheel drive system enables perfect handling. At the same time all powertrain components have also been comprehensively reinforced, to transfer the acceleration of up to 1,500 Nm safely to all four drive wheels.

Instead of the air intakes above the engine, fresh air is fed in via two NACA ducts set into the roof. The Super Sport’s front view is characterized by expanded, reshaped air intakes, with the lower one extending around the sides to the wheel arch to lend this supreme sports car an even more assured appearance. Meanwhile at the rear the Super Sport features a revised rear panel arrangement and engine cover, a new double diffuser and a centrally arranged exhaust system with two broad chrome exhaust tips. The modified rear and the redesigned roof both enhance the aerodynamics of this quintessential Bugatti.

Brains, beauty, talent and taste – Beyonce has got it all, making Jay-Z one of the luckiest men in the world. His wife recently cashed out over $2.5 million on buying him a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport for his 41st birthday.

Beyonce ordered the car a year ago since Bugatti puts a lot of attention to detail on every model it produces.

“Obviously the money isn’t a factor for Beyonce, but he will be touched that out of everything she could have bought him, she chose something he’ll treasure for years,” reported British newspaper The Sun.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport

While we’re not sure there is a single road in India where you can hit a top speed of 253 mph, Bugatti announced that it is introducing its Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport supercar to the rich folks in the country… and by rich we mean really rich. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport will be sold in India with a 110 percent import tax bringing the retail price of the car to about 160 million rupees ($3.6 million USD).

According to Guy Caquelin, Bugatti”s marketing manager for the Middle East, Europe and India, Bugatti will deliver the models around six to eight months after receiving orders. He did not say how many Bugatti expects to sell.

“People have more spending power and are getting more aware of owning beautiful things,” said Satya Bagla, head of Exclusive Motors Pvt., the dealer for Bugatti, Lamborghini and Bentley. “They are more ready to show their wealth.”

into the lines of the polished aluminium parts ““ doors and front wings ““ thus enhancing the
“silver theme” of this car; yet another unique Bugatti creation celebrating the 100th anniversary
of the brand. The “Sang d’Argent” has the Grand Sport rims, they complete together with the air
intakes on the roof the overall silver appearance.

Through the windows shines a differentiating Havanna interior with quilting pattern on seats
and saddle and other very personalized items emphasizing the unique features of this very special
Bugatti.

The “Soleil de Nuit” ““ Sun of the Night ““ is another stunning example of how a modern
interpretation of Bugatti’s core values “Art, Forme, Technique”: A very unusual colour/material

Last week, Bugatti took the wraps off another special-edition version of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, called the Sang Bleu. The model, which celebrated Bugatti’s 100th anniversary made its debut at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d”Elegance.

According to Auto Motor und Sport, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Sang Bleu is the last of the special-edition Veyrons.

Bugatti has reportedly built 250 of the 300 Veyrons originally planned for production. The automaker will now focus on its next project, known as the Royale or Bordeaux.

While you were probably waiting to see the new Bugatti Royale or Bordeaux, the supercar manufacturer today celebrated its 100th anniversary with a one-off special-edition version of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, called the Sang Bleu. The model made its debut at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

Instead of going with another two-tone paint color special-edition model, the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Sang Bleu features blue carbon fiber set against polished aluminum. The wheels of the Veyron Grand Sport Sang Bleu are highlighted in a Midnight Blue and Diamond Cut two-tone finish.

On the inside, the special-edition Veyron Grand Sport Roadster is trimmed in a new Gaucho leather.

Seems like we’ll have to wait until another major auto show even to see a new Bugatti.

The visual carbon fibre is tinted in royal blue to emphasize the refined volumes and surfaces of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport. The rear airscoops are tinted in the same nightblue – offering a dramatic view from above – and thus fluidly integrate into the overall design philosophy of this unique model.

The rims are inspired by the Grand Sport Roadster and are highlighted in a Midnight Blue and Diamond Cut two tone finish. The interior, specially and tastefully selcted for the Pebble Beach event, is trimmed in a newly developed Gaucho leather which blends with the intriguing and pure exterior materials creating an elegant and harmonious overall appearance.

In the year of its 100th anniversary Bugatti has been selected to be one of the featured marques at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Ettore Bugatti started his business in the Alsacian town of Molsheim in 1909. The name of the company: “žEttore Bugatti Automobiles i. Els.”. In 1956 the company ceased its activities. Exactly 50 years later, in March 2006, the first Bugatti Veyron built by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. was delivered – after the Volkswagen Group had aquired the rights of the Bugatti marque in 1998 and started the re-launch of this famous brand. To date over 250 of the planned Bugatti Veyrons are sold, 215 of them have been delivered to customers worldwide. In June 2009 Bugatti started production of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, the open roadster. The sales results are encouraging over 20 Grand Sports have been sold, with first deliveries already started.

The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Sang Bleu is the latest in a line of centenary Bugatti models which have won worldwide acclaim in 2009. The first (unit #001) of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport is being put up for sale at a dealership in Beverly Hills for a whopping price tag of $2.4 million. The first unit was auctioned off for $3.2 million while 50 were pre-sold to loyal Bugatti owners. The #001 drop-top Veyron has just 400 miles on it.

Obviously the seller is looking to make some extra cash on the new fun-in-the-sun Veyron, of which Bugatti will only produce 300 units of with prices starting around $1.9 million.

Bugatti has kicked of production of the new Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport. Unveiled earlier this year at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Bugatti has already pre-sold 30 units of the targa-top Veyron. Deliveries will start in July.

The first unit was auctioned off for $3.2 million while 50 were pre-sold to loyal Bugatti owners. The remaining copies will be priced from $1.95 million each.

Besides working on a new 270mph Veyron GT and a four-door model, Bugatti is planning a carbon fiber version of the new convertible/targa Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport. According to CAR, Bugatti is planning a Sang Noir carbon fiber special edition version of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport alongside the 15 units of the coupe Veyron Sang Noir.

Like the coupe Sang Noir, Bugatti will only produce 15 units of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Sang Noir. Power will come from W16 1001 horsepower engine that allows for a top speed of 253mph with the top closed and 190mph with the roof off.

Expect it to be very expensive and very exclusive. The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport will see a production run of 150 units, 50 of which have already been sold to existing Bugatti customers.
