German tuner 9ff, creators of the 9ff GT9 and the 9ff GT9-R, are reportedly taking orders on a convertible version of latter. Power will come from the same 4.0L flat-6 used in the 9ff GT9-R that has two massive turbos to produce 1,120-hp with a peak torque of 774 lb-ft.

The coupe sibling is known as that ’the world’s fastest street-legal car’ going from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 257 mph.

Pricing for the original 973-hp GT9 started at $786,441 with only 20 units planned for production. So if a convertible GT9-R is believed to be in the works, expect it to be very expensive and very exclusive.

Just before the end of 2008, tuner 9ff dropped some dark sketches of their Porsche Panamera modifications. Almost 8 months later, 9ff has now released some details along with the first images of their take on the four-door, four-seater Porsche.

9ff will offer 3-levels of modifications including the PT-55, PT-60 and PT-65. The PT-55 gives the Porsche Panamera Turbo 550-hp with a maximum torque of 560 lb-ft through an upgraded ECU and air filters. The PT-60 adds an exhaust system and boosts output up to 600-hp with a peak torque of 590 lb-ft. The top of the line 9ff PT-65 gets a total of 650-hp and 627 lb-ft of torque through upgraded air-filters, turbocharger, a vented hood and an exhaust system.

The images you see here are actually computer rendered image; however, they give you an idea of what you can expect the 9ff Panamera to look like when it’s completed. Expect a new front bumper, front lip spoiler, side skirts, a rear bumper, quad exhaust pipes and oddly shaped 22-inch wheels.

We’ll get more information and some pricing details as work on the 9ff Panamera continues – stay tuned.

Of course 9ff didn’t need to make a drag-racing Porsche but creating a car faster than the Bugatti Veyron is enough justification to build the new 9ff’s 1300-hp Porsche 911 DraXster.

Power comes from a 4.0L twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine that makes a total of 1300-hp with a maximum torque of 878 lb-ft. That allows for a 0 to 161 mph run in just 9.5 seconds. Top speed and quarter-mile run figures are unavailable.

Pricing is also unavailable but we’re guessing 9ff isn’t planning on producing many units since maintaining high-speeds with a 1300-hp Porsche 911 that weighs just 1168kg isn’t safe or healthy for the car during long distances.

We’ve already seen the first official images of the new 2010 Porsche Panamera which some of you think is hot and some of you think its not. So we suppose we should leave it up to the imagination of the tuning industry to come up with something that will boost the sex appeal of the four-door Porsche.

Before the 2010 Panamera made its official debut, tuner 9ff released sketches of a modified version of the car that it was putting together. According to cardesign.ru, 9ff has now teamed up with Russian tuning companies Top Car and Cardi to build the Panamera.

There are supposedly two body kit packages in the works. The first one replaces all the body panels and forgoes door handles – apparently everything will be controlled by the key fob. The second package (which can be used with the first package) adds a new front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, a carbon fiber bonnet and a large lip spoiler in the back. All three companies have yet to give any information on the power output increases but Porsche says that the Panamera will top out at 500-hp so we’re guessing 700-hp to 800-hp should be a good guesstimate.

9ff Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH is building a limited edition of its GT9, a car based on the 911 GT3 that has a modified version of the 3.6L that produces 973-hp. The 9ff GT9 goes from 0 to 60 in 3.4 seconds and claims a top speed of 254 mph – that’s faster than the Bugatti Veyron’s 248 mph.

9ff will build 20 units of the GT9 with each unit selling for $786,441. So what’s next for 9ff? Well besides working on a modified version of the Panamera, 9ff will be working on the GT9-R – a faster and more powerful version of the GT9.

Output is expected to come in at 1120-hp with a maximum torque of 774.4 lb-ft. We’re excited to see some performance figures but have our fingers crossed for a reasonable timeline. The GT9 took, well we’re not sure of exact dates, but it took a very long time.

530 horsepower; 0 to 60 in 3.6 seconds; top speed of 204 mph. All that sounds pretty satisfying to us. But if you’re 9ff and you see the Porsche 911 GT2 on the track, all you can think is how much more power you can extract from under the hood.

Now it’s not like 9ff improved the 0 to 60 time because their 9ff GT2 still takes 3.6 seconds to reach 60 mph like the standard Porsche 911 GT2. However, the tuner made extensive engine modifications extracting a total of 670-hp with a maximum torque of 590 lb-ft. The running gear, which includes double chassis springs and a coilover kit, was perfected at the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring. With that in mind, you can expect to have GT2 that’s a monster on the track and on the roads.

9ff is apparently working on two more versions of the 9ff GT2 with output ranging from 710-hp to 910-hp. Let’s hope for some very impressive performance figures. We really hope they upgrade the appearance of the car while their at it because that graphic work is hideous.

The 973-hp 9ff GT9, which is based on the Porsche 911 GT3, is going into limited production at the company’s Dortmund location. Well it seems like the 9ff engineers have already started working on their next project – the Porsche Panamera.

9ff is showing off sketches (pretty dull sketches) on its site. The German tuner is known for offering neck snapping horsepower to Porsche’s so we expect their tuning kit for the Panamera to be pretty exciting.

According to the company’s website, 9ff is already taking orders and pricing is available upon request.
