It’s October 29th, and as we told you earlier this month we would see the first official pictures of the new 2009 Nissan 370Z; well here they are. The Nissan 370Z will be revealed at the 2008 LA Auto Show next month and will go on sale in the U.S. in early 2009.

Power will come from the G37’s 3.7L V6 engine making 330-hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. It will be mated to a manual or a 7-speed automatic.

We should get all the pricing details next month along with more technical specs details.

Nissan offers the first look at the upcoming 2009 370Z Coupe, which makes its world debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 19th.  The all-new 2009 Nissan 370Z, the first full redesign of the iconic Nissan Z since its reintroduction as a 2003 model, solidifies the strengths of its predecessor with an unmatched balance of performance, style and value.  The all-new Z will go on sale at Nissan dealers in early 2009.

Recently InsideLine was lucky enough to test drive the new 2009 Nissan 370Z that we won’t get to see until the 2008 LA Auto Show. Now the insiders at Edmunds are providing the first look at the 2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster.

At first we thought these were real spy shots but upon closer inspection (or more like paying attention to InsideLine’s fine print) we learned that these are just photo illustrations as to what the next-generation 370Z Roadster will look like.

Power for the Nissan 370Z Roadster will also come from the 3.7L engine from the G37 coupe. It will make 330-hp with a maximum torque of 270 lb-ft of torque. Power will be transferred to the wheels from a 7-speed automatic transmission with an available 6-speed manual.

According to InsideLine the 2010 Nissan 370Z will be unveiled at the 2009 New York Auto Show.

We won’t get to see the 2009 Nissan 370Z until the LA Auto Show next month but the InsideLine folks were lucky enough to get a close up look and test drive a prototype that was hanging out in California. The video shows the new 370Z in action and gives us a detailed look at the interior.

We already know a lot of info on the Nissan 370Z including that it will be powered by a 3.7L engine from the G37 coupe producing a total of 330-hp and 270 lb-ft of torque and will be mated to the new 7-speed automatic transmission with Drive Sport (DS) mode and Adaptive Shift Control (ASC). A 6-speed manual will also be available.

Nissan will release the first official pictures of the 2009 Nissan 370Z on Oct. 29th. Availability and pricing details maybe revealed at the LA Auto Show.

The new 2009 Nissan 370Z (we’ve been labeling it as a 2010 model year) will make its official debut at the 2008 LA Auto Show, but Edmunds was lucky enough to get behind a prototype for some exclusive one-on-one.

Edmunds said that the new 370Z is a lot shorter than the fifth-generation 350Z which sits on a long 104.3-inch wheelbase so it can be said that the ‘Z’ has gone back to a 99-inch wheelbase. As you’ve probably noticed from the spy shots, the roof has very sharp rectilinear lines that is reminiscent of the Nissan GT-R. The Nissan 370Z will be offered with the 3.7L engine from the G37 coupe producing a total of 330-hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. It will be mated to a manual or a 7-speed automatic.

We’ve seen spy shots of the 2010 Nissan 370Z hanging around the streets of Nurburgring; we’ve also seen interior shots of the upcoming so-called ‘baby GT-R.’ Now, glimpses of the car have been seen on the promo website for Need for Speed Undercover.

We can see a newly design taillamp that kind of does the 2009 Nissan Maxima headlamp thing.

The 330-hp Nissan 370Z will make its official debut at the 2008 LA Auto Show next month.

Yesterday we saw the 2010 Nissan 370Z driving around the streets of the Nurburgring. Today we see the interior of the 2010 370Z and tomorrow we’ll most likely see the 370Z circling the Nordschleife.

It seems Nissan is ditching its old interior styling across the board for a more Infiniti/luxurious feel. The 2009 Nissan Maxima saw the new updated interior when it was revealed at the 2008 New York Motor Show and now, from these spy shots, we can see that the 2010 Nissan 370Z will also get a luxurious yet sporty cockpit.

The Nissan 370Z is expected to debut next month at the 2008 LA Auto Show, so stay tuned for all the updates.

Spies recently caught the 2010 Nissan 370Z on its way to the Nurburgring for some high-speed testing. The car is starting to be called the ‘baby GT-R’ and you’re probably wondering if it will live up to such an honorary nickname.

Well, let’s take a look. The Nissan 370Z will be a mashup between the GT-R and the 350Z. Power will come from a 3.7L V6 that produces 330-hp – the same engine powers the Infiniti G37. All that power will be transferred to the road via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission from the GT-R. CAR says that the new upmarket coupe will ride on a rear-wheel-drive architecture. Sounds pretty good to us, but let’s wait to see some Nurburgring and 0 to 62 mph times.

A compact entry level Infiniti is still 3-years away. In the meantime, Nissan says that it will try to position its upcoming 2010 370Z, which will be unveiled at the 2008 LA Auto Show, as a competitor to the Porsche Cayman and Audi TT.

The successor to the 350Z will have a bigger 3.7L V6 that will make 330-hp. It is rumored that the car will get a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission from big-brother GT-R. The goal for the 2010 370Z is to market and position it as a pure sports car, says Nissan’s head of marketing Tetsuo Shimada.

“When we launched the current Z in 2002, it was a symbol of Nissan’s revival, a kind of brand symbol, plus driving performance,” Shimada told Automotive News. “This time with the 370Z, we are focusing more on the driving performance, as a pure driving sports car.”

Shimada said the 2010 Nissan 370Z will hit Japan in December followed by the U.S.
