Obviously all of these parts are not for your average ‘RS’ or‘RSR’ tribute project race car...An RSR engine is expensiveandmost belong in a factory Porsche race car. A few words about how I arrived at the starting-offer price.In light of the fact that the Porsche factory produced such a low number, less than 55 samples of 911 RSR race cars, and, considering the current market-value of just about ANY 911 RSR factory car iswell above 1M+, the 'contributory-value' of an OEM factory 911 RSR twin-plug race engine should not be no less than 15%of the value of the vehicle.Personally, I feel 15% is a conservative number and in fact, I wascriticized twice by two well educated sources for not using a higher number (current and ex-owner of 911 RSR factory cars).
