Installation Instructions:
This needs to be programmed, we can program free of charge as long as VIN is provided. You need to only disconnect the vehicle battery, install the TCM, reconnect the battery and drive the vehicle for the TCM to adapt to the vehicle. The truck will haveerraticand hard shifts if adaptation isn'tperformed. The adaptation is requirement for the vehicle to operate normally, you do not need any special tools to do this. To adapt the TCM you need to drive around 100 miles. You can also speed up this process by putting the truck into tow/haul mode and then accelerating from a dead stop to 70 miles per hour seven to ten times.
