THIS IS A LONG DESCRIPTION BUT THIS IS THE INFO YOU NEED IN MAKING A WISE PURCHASE. NOT ALL ENGINES ARE RE-MANUFACTURED THE SAME WAY. WE ARE NOT A PRODUCTION RE-BUILDER (ASSEMBLY LINE EMPLOYEES). WE ARE A CUSTOM ENGINE RE-BUILDER (ASE MASTER MACHINIST EMPLOYEES). WE SUPPLY UPS, THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, Volvo & MERCRUISER MARINE DEALERS, Ford & GM DEALERS AND NUMEROUS OTHERS WITH CUSTOM BUILD ENGINES.

ALL ENGINES ARE BLUEPRINTED! BLUEPRINTING IS DEFINED AS REMOVING & NARROWING THE TOLERANCES FOUND IN MASS PRODUCTION. ROD, MAIN, & CAM CLEARANCES ARE CHECKED WITH DIAL BORE GAUGES & MICROMETERS. BEARINGS CLEARANCES ARE SET DEPENDING ON APPLICATION. PISTON & VALVE GUIDE CLEARANCES ARE SET WITH DIAL BORE GAUGES. CAM TIMING EVENTS ARE CHECKED AND ADJUSTED. A SPECIFICATIONS & BUILD SHEET IS AVAILABLE FOR EACH ENGINE.

WE DO NOT WELD OR REPAIR CRACKED BLOCKS, CRANKS OR HEADS. WE DO NOT USE CYLINDER SLEEVES TO REPAIR BAD CYLINDERS. IF WE DON’T HAVE A GOOD REBUILDABLE ENGINE CORE WE DON’T OFFER AN ENGINE FOR SALE. I WOULD NOT WANT AN ENGINE WITH A WELDED OR SLEEVED PART. WOULD YOU?

CYLINDER SLEEVE ASSEMBLIES ARE REMOVED & REPLACED WITH NEW SLEEVES, PISTONS, RINGS, LOCKS, & PINS.

MAIN BEARING SADDLES ARE ALIGN BORED TO THE CORRECTSPECS. THIS IS PART OF THE BLUEPRINT PROCESS. WE DO NOT TRY AND REPAIR BLOCKS WITH "SPUN" MAIN BEARINGS. WE JUNK THOSE BLOCKS.

BLOCK DECKS ARE SURFACED WITH CBNCUTTERS IN A CNC MACHINE. THIS IS THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY IN SURFACING CAST IRON. TO ENSURE PROPER GASKET SEALING WE CHECK ALL SURFACES WITH A PROFILOMETER (DEVICE USED TO CHECK SURFACE FINISH - DIFFERENT GASKETS REQUIRE DIFFERENT SURFACE FINISHES). WE DO NOT USE HEAD GASKET "SHIMS" TO CORRECT BLOCK HEIGHT ERRORS. WE JUNK THOSE BLOCKS.

CRANKSHAFTS ARE HEAT TREATED (THERMAL CONVECTION OVEN - BETTER AND EASIER ON THE CASTING THAN YOUR STANDARD PRODUCTION REBUILDER THERMAL OVEN), SHOT PEENED (STRESS RELIEVES), AND MACHINED A MAXIMUM OF .010 ON ROD & MAIN JOURNALS. CRANKSHAFT IS THEN BALANCED INA STEWART WARNER DIGITAL BALANCER. NO WELDED CRANKSHAFT JOURNALS! MOST ALL PRODUCTION REBUILDERS DO NOT BALANCE THEIR CRANKS, RODS, & PISTONS.

CONNECTING RODS ARE HEAT TREATED (THERMAL CONVECTION OVEN), SHOT PEENED (STRESS RELIEVES), & MACHINED TO THE OEM SPECS TO TIGHTEN OIL CLEARANCES & HELP OIL PRESSURE AT LOW RPM'S. THIS IS PART OF THE BLUEPRINT PROCESS. MATCHED & BALANCED SET OF RODS. WE DO NOT TRY AND RECONDITION RODS WITH "SPUN" BEARINGS. WE JUNK THOSE RODS!

CYLINDER HEADS RE-MANUFACTURED TO EXCEED OEM SPECS. WE INSTALL NEW INTAKE & EXHAUST VALVES, LOCKS, VALVE SPRINGS& VALVE SEALS. NEW VALVE GUIDES ARE INSTALLED &HONED INASUNNEN GUIDE HONE. HEADS ARE SURFACED ON THE GASKET SURFACE WITH CBN CUTTERS (LATEST TECHNOLOGY IN SURFACING CAST IRON) TO ENSURE PROPER GASKET SEALING. SURFACES ARE THEN CHECKED WITH THE SAME PROFILOMETER USED ON BLOCK GASKET SURFACES.

WE DO NOT WELD OR REPAIR CRACKED OR DAMAGED CYLINDER HEAD CASTINGS. WE DO NOT "SHIM" WEAK VALVE SPRINGS TO INCREASE PRESSURE (WE REPLACE). WE DO NOT USE BRONZE VALVE GUIDE LINERS (PRODUCTION RE-BUILDERS USE THEM, BUT... THEY FAIL), WE REPLACE THE VALVE GUIDE (NOT TRY & REPAIR IT).

THE LONG BLOCK IS ASSEMBLED WITH MAHLE AND CLEVITE COMPONENTS. THESE ARE THE OEMSUPPLIERS FOR CUMMINS. OUR CUMMINSENGINE BUILDERS HAVE A COMBINED 60 YRS EXPERIENCE & ARE ASE MASTER ENGINE MACHINISTS.


NO CORE CHARGE WILL BE BILLED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE, BUT BY BUYING YOU AGREE TO HAVE THE ENGINE CORE READY FOR PICKUP AND RETURN TO US WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIVING THE ENGINE. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY (UNTIL CORE CHARGE IS PAID IN FULL) & YOU WILL BE BILLED AND LIABLE FOR A $2,000.00ENGINE CORE CHARGE.

ANY CORE ENGINES NOT RETURNED WITHIN THE SPECIFIED TIME MAY BE SUBJECT TO A RESTOCKING FEE OF 20%.
