MTM has released a new tuning package for the Audi TT RS, a rebirth of the 5-clyinder engine that MTM says is “perfect motorization for drivers who like their car being suitable for racing.”

After undergoing some upgrades, the MTM Audi TT RS makes total of 424-hp and a peak torque of 413 lb-ft. That allows for a 0 to 62 mph time of 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 185 mph.

If you feel 424-hp is too much for you (and we don’t know why you would feel that way), MTM also offers a 404-hp upgrade and a 408-hp upgrade. To make it a little more exciting, MTM added original BIMOTO design in 19 and 20-inch wheels.

After the MTM power therapy, the sport car from Audi gets a power of 424 BHP and 560 Nm of torque and shows itself with a new aerodynamic which is based on the Ur-Quattro.

The secret: love for details and understanding of the new engine from Audi. In addition to the adjustment of the engine control unit, MTM has also worked on the exhaust system: new middle- and end- pipes with throttle valves. Moreover, an additional pre-pipe with metal catalyser can be built in. The result: a high-revving engine, lots of torque in every range of performance and an impressive sound thanks to MTM exhaust system technology with throttle valve. A compact sports car which will be good for best lap times and this not only on the small track of Hockenheim.

The MTM TT-RS can be ordered in 3 different stages of power enhancement. Besides the maximal stage of 424 BHP with 84 BHP more as the 340 from the series car, MTM also offer 2 stages with 404 and 408 BHP and 550 Nm. MTM sports rims with the original BIMOTO design in 19 and 20″, as well as suitable spacers in 20 mm and 30 mm are available.

You probably thought that Abarth’s 695 Tributo Ferrari was one of the hottest Fiat 500s you’ve ever seen. Well, we’d now like to introduce you to Romeo Ferraris’ modified Fiat 500 that will take part in the ‘6 Hours of Vallelunga.’

The carbon-fiber Fiat 500 is powered by a 1.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces an outstanding 360-hp. The hardcore Fiat 500 will be driven by Aldo Cerruti, Michela Cerruti and Maria Ferraris.

The Fiat 500 will be available in the North American market with a 1.4L Multiair engine in the fourth quarter of 2010.

What you’re looking at here is a modern interpretation of the Plymouth Road Runner based on the 2009 Dodge Challenger with a 6.1L HEMI turbocharged V8 engine. The concept is being put together by an independent designer Michael Leonhard, who is selling the car once he’s done building it.

The 6.1 HEMI turbocharged V8 allows for a total of 620-hp with a maximum torque of 650 lb-ft. 0-60 mph should come in 3.8 seconds.

Even before it’s built, Leonhard has put the one-off model up for grabs on eBay with a Buy it Now price tag of $950,000. Of course, you want to be careful before you go spending close to a million on this car since Leonhard says “in order to improve the finished product, changes to the design may occur during the building process.”

Techart has introduced a modification program for the new 2009 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S that offers up to 35 more horsepower.

The modification includes a new exhaust system with two manifolds and a stainless steel Sportkatanlage, muffler with exhaust flap control unit and an exhaust valve doppelovale tailpipes in gloss black or chrome. All that results in an increase from 385-hp to 420-hp.

To enhance aerodynamics, Techart added a new front spoiler, a roof spoiler and rear wing, a new rear diffuser and new side skirts.

The individualized Porsche brings perfection of form, sportiness and dynamism, and once again embodies the basic principle of all TECHART products: OEM quality – made in Germany. Available now in the program with this is the new Performance: The components include the exhaust valve “Racing” and a new engine electronics for a notable increase in output by up to 35 hp.

New TECHART performance kit
For the Porsche Carrera S and 4S all-wheel version of one developed TECHART performance kit for listening and feeling. The kit includes a new engine management software and an exhaust valve in the variant “Racing”. The exhaust system includes two manifolds and a stainless steel Sportkatanlage, muffler with exhaust flap control unit and an exhaust valve doppelovale tailpipes in gloss black or chrome. The driver can thereby switch between a sporty-production sound or a powerful racing sound. Overall, the new performance kit provides a clearly noticeable performance increase of 35 horsepower – in the upper rpm range. Optionally, a pure exhaust valve of the variant “sport” is available which, although not a performance boost, it also provides the individual sound experience. The facility consists of muffler with exhaust valve, exhaust valve control unit, and doppelovalen tailpipes in gloss black or chrome.

Aerodynamics and Design
The TÜV-certified Aerokit I is the successful result of intensive development work in the wind tunnel. This increased to improve the use PUR-RIM components of downforce on the axles and also the stability. The front spoiler I, highlights the dynamics of the 911 Carrera and provides by streamlining the flow of air for effective cooling of the brake system. Side emphasizing the powerful sidelines. A roof spoiler and rear wing, three different variants, depending on the requirements to enable an accurate aerodynamic set at the rear. Thus, the variable rear wing IV pitot-air channels and integrates an additional adjustable trailing edge (Gurney flap). The dynamic nature are further complicated by decorative screens for the outside mirrors – made from carbon fiber painted in desired color, Scheinwerferzierblenden, a deep-seated rear diffuser and the new sport exhaust systems emphasized.

TECHART suspension
For sporty, tight handling makes next to a sports spring kit also TECHART TECHART threaded chassis VARIO. For vehicles with PASM, the variant VARIO PLUS is available. Both systems are equipped with threaded shock absorbers with adjustable train and rebound as well as specific main and auxiliary springs. TECHART Formula II and Formula light-alloy wheels, a five-spoked wheel in one or multipieced design underline this sportiness. For the new 911 models is also the TECHART Formula III forged light-alloy forged in the twin-spoke design Available in sizes 19 – and 20-inches. Optional is also the TECHART Noseliftsystem available to overcome curbs or other ramps. By pressing a button the car can be increased by up to 60 millimeters – even while driving up to 60 km / h.

Independent to the last detail: The interior
A wealth of different leather interiors, matching 3-spoke airbag sports steering wheels, aluminum pedals and trim are just a few extras. Custom design is limited by the TECHART-Manufactory almost no limits. The silver-colored accents are inter alia in the dashboard and Türzierteilen, placed at the aperture of the infotainment system in the center console, seat-back trays and coat hooks.

Until BMW unveils the new M5 sedan, we’ll have to do with some aftermarket customizations to the current M5. The folks at Lumma Design teamed up with G-Power to produce their latest creation – the CLR 730 RS.

Power comes from a 730-hp V10 twin-turbocharged engine taken from G-Power that allows the CLR 730 RS to go from 0 to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 228 mph.

The LUMMA Bodykit for the CLR 730 RS consist of a hood, a trunk lid with integrated tearing edge, mirror caps, door handles, entrance strips and fenders – all made of carbon fiber.

Aerodynamics is of elementary importance to get a more then 360 km/h maximum speed. The body of the BMW M5 is improved with ultra light but extremely compact carbon components. The LUMMA chassis brings true racing technology on the street. The sport suspension is multiple adjustable on both axles in bound and rebound and lowering the car up to 45 mm.

Extra light and forged wheels were produced for the ultra broad track. On the front axle are LUMMA Racing rims in 10×21″ with tires size 255/30-21, on the rear axle 12Jx21 with tires from Michelin size 295/25-21. The wheelwork is three piece crafted, the rim star is forged, and dull black anodized and has stainless steel outer rims.

Because of the combination of lightweight, enormous engine power and innovative aerodynamics the LUMMA CLR 730 RS from Winterlingen achieves acceleration times which were so far only subject to true race cars. The 730 hp V10 bi-compressor engine obstructed from G-power is the most powerful engine that has ever been obstructed into a road-legal BMW. Off the top off one’s head the car catapults itself within 4.2 seconds up to speed 100. After 10 seconds the sport limousine has already doubled the speed. After 29.5 seconds the car achieves 300 km/h. Top speed is at 367,4 km/h. This power explosion is traced back to the core of the G-Power compressor system, the ASA radial compressor. Also used is a LUMMA sport exhaust system with 100 cells racing catalysts and 105 mm end pipes made of stainless steel and engraved LUMMA logo.

Of course LUMMA Design does not count on the original brake system. Also at this the best just isn’t good enough. LUMMA Design obstructed a 6-pistons (rear axle 4-pistons) brake system, which affects on the front- and rear axle on a drilled brake disc dimension 405 mm (380 mm).

The cockpit of the CLR 730 RS unites a pure racing look in a combination of carbon, leather and Ultra suede with the comfort that is nowadays expected from a luxury sport car. The comfort features are: a bicolor complete leather interior in red/white with stitched diamond patterns and white fancy seems. The Ultra suede improvement includes the dashboard, the seat consoles and the coverages. All panels on the dashboard and the center console, the transmission control, the steering wheel, the hand brake lever and the backside of the sport seats are beautified with carbon. Finally everything is completed by suede car mats edged with leather, a trunk mat and sporty aluminum pedals and a footrest.

Wish that the new 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG looked more like the old Gullwing? Well, ever since the launch of the SLS AMG at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the folks at Gullwing-America have been working on their own version of the new Stuttgart supercar – the Gullwing 300SL Panamericana.

After seeing the new 2011 SLS AMG coupe, Arturo Alonso, Gullwing-America’s chief engineer, went back to the drawing board and decided to add a new grille, ribs on the hood and fenders and other touches from the original Gullwing. The kit consists of seven body parts made from Hybrid Aluminum and carbon fiber.

Buyers can add two side vents, a set of chrome touches including a new grille frame, new oval dual xenon headlamps, 19 or 20-inch Gullwing America wheels and a sport tuned muffler system. Owners can also add racing stripes on the front fenders in any combination they desire.

Power still comes from the 6.2L V8 making 563-hp with a peak torque of 479 lb-ft of torque from the SLS AMG.

Ford’s factory drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. has released its own modified version of the 2010 Ford Mustang that will debut at the 2009 SEMA show later this week. Known as the Ford Mustang RTR, the whole modification package will be available at Ford dealers in February of 2010 with prices starting at $7,800.

The Mustang RTR adds a front chin spoiler with splitter, side splitters, rear diffuser, aluminum rear spoiler, RTR exterior and interior badges, RTR floor mats and 19-inch RTR wheels.

Performance features include Flaken FK452 performance tires, Ford Racing shocks and 1.5-inch lowering springs, upgraded rear sway bar, cross-drilled and slotted rotors, extra 9-hp from a Ford Racing tune and K&N Air filter and a throaty muffler.

Just last week we introduced you to the Lingenfelter 455 T/A Concept, a car that will make its world debut at the 2009 SEMA Show later this week. We now have our first real look at the car before its official SEMA debut thanks to CARandDRIVER.

After all the waiting and development, Hennessey has finally unveiled the new 2010 HPE700 LS9 Chevrolet Camaro that will be introduced at the 2009 SEMA show next week. Hennessey will only make 24 units of the HPE700 and 10 of them have already been sold.

Based on the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS with a 6-speed manual transmission, the HPE700 features a LS9 6.2L Supercharged with intercooler allowing a total of 725-hp with a maximum torque of 741 lb-ft. 0-60 mph comes in just 3.5 seconds while the quarter mile run takes 11.3 seconds at 126 mph. Stopping power comes from Brembo brakes that bring the HPE700 from 60-0 mph in 104 ft.

Hennessey says that it is also offering a 850-hp twin-turbo upgrade and a 1,000-hp twin-turbo upgrade.

There is no doubt that the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro will be one of the hottest vehicles at the 2009 SEMA show. Hendrick Motorsports will reveal its 25th Anniversary Camaro SS in Las Vegas next week and only 25 of these special edition Camaros will be produced with a price-tag of $76,181.

“We’re flattered to have been selected by Rick Hendrick to build these special cars,” said Reeves Callaway, founder of Callaway Cars. “We have the highest respect for his organization and the cars we will build under the Hendrick name will represent the best of our styling, engineering and manufacturing abilities.”

The body of the modified Camaro 2SS will feature carbon fiber rocker panels, carbon fiber front splitter, carbon fiber rear diffuser, carbon fiber deck spoiler, ZR1-style hood with carbon fiber insert and 20 -inch Callaway/Henderick Motorsports wheels.

If you’ve been following some 2009 SEMA show news, you’re about to love the next couple of posts (and they all talk about modified versions of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro). First up is the new General Marketing Capital Incorporated’s 2010 Yenko Camaro.

“The company will present the modern Yenko almost 44 years to the day that Don Yenko’s Corvair Corsa was officially recognized as a Class D Production Competition Car by the SCCA,” GMCI said.

Based on the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS, GMCI added a 600-hp supercharged and intercooled LS-based engine, Tremec 6-speed manual transmission, Hurst short throw shifter, 6-piston big brake package and Magnaflow high-flow cat-back exhaust system.

Westminster, Calif. – (October 28, 2009) General Marketing Capital Incorporated (GMCI) announced today that it will present its official 2010 Yenko Camaro Prototype to the public in the OER booth (# 23795) at the 46th annual SEMA Trade Show in Las Vegas, November 3-6.

The company will present the modern Yenko almost 44 years to the day that Don Yenko’s Corvair Corsa was officially recognized as a Class D Production Competition Car by the SCCA.

The official 2010 Yenko Prototype began its life on a 2010 Camaro SS platform. The vehicle then underwent several significant upgrades including modification to a “Phase I” Yenko Camaro Supercar. Preliminary highlights and specifications of this powerful vehicle include a high performance 600hp supercharged and intercooled LS-based engine, Tremec six speed manual high performance transmission, Hurst short throw shifter, 6-piston big brake package and Magnaflow high-flow cat-back exhaust system.

Plans call for three Phases to be available to take the fifth Generation Camaro from ordinary to extraordinary. This “Phase I” Prototype from GMCI maintains the unique retro appeal Yenko enthusiasts are so passionate about, while including significant performance upgrades to the stock GM specifications and keeping the car affordable. Phase II and III cars will have higher output engines and even more suspension and handling upgrades.

Additional Yenko branded upgrades to this prototype vehicle include: the Yenko stripe package, official emblems and badging, retro-styled 22″ Yenko billet aluminum wheels, Yenko leather interior package featuring Yenko Super Car (sYc) embroidered headrests, Yenko/SC sill plates, Yenko/SC embroidered floor mats and more.

Nearly 45 years ago, racing legend Don Yenko embarked on a mission to build a race car that could effectively compete in the 1966 SCCA racing season. His inspiration resulted in the development of the Yenko Stinger, an SCCA race car based on the Corvair Corsa platform. It was in the last quarter of 1965 that Yenko’s plans for that vehicle came together changing automotive history forever.

Originally, the 60s era Yenko car was a special order vehicle, designed and built by Don Yenko Chevrolet in Canonsburg, PA. Don Yenko used the Central Office Production Order (COPO) program, a program GM used for fleet vehicles like police cars, taxi cabs, etc. to special order the vehicles and then modify them into some of the most powerful vehicles available. Hennessey Performance Engineering is well known for its modified American muscle. However, next week at the 2009 SEMA Show, Hennessey will show a modified 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe that pushes an outstanding 500-hp.

“The Genesis Coupe architecture is the ideal platform for tuners looking to make everyday modifications to their vehicles and our students at the Tuner School took full advantage,” said Hennessey. “The visually stunning complete carbon fiber matte black wrap and high-end performance benchmarks create a monster SEMA car.”

HPE and the Tuner School will blow away the SEMA crowd with its Genesis Coupe achieving 500 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, 465 lb-ft of torque, an estimated 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds and a quarter mile time of 12.5 seconds. These aggressive performance capabilities were accomplished through a variety of engine modifications. The Genesis Carbon Coupe features a Hennessey Custom Single Turbo System, Precision 66 mm ball bearing turbocharger, Tial blow-off valve and 44 mm wastegate, a HKS boost controller and upgraded injectors and fuel pump, among other additions.

“To work with a leading tuner such as John Hennessey and his Tuner School is a testament to the potential of our rear-wheel-drive Genesis Coupe,” said Michael Deitz, manager, Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America. “With its 500 horsepower and 0-60 time of 3.9 seconds we expect this vehicle to be one of the stars of SEMA.”

On the outside, SEMA Show attendees will find Savini lightweight wheels with chrome lips and silver centers, Eibach springs and Brembo lightweight rotors.

A new and improved version of Specter Werkes’ latest Corvette C6 GTR will be distinguished by its unique BASF Pearl Blue exterior color and HRE CF40 carbon fiber wheels next week at the 2009 SEMA show in Las Vegas.

Based on Corvette Z06, the new Corvette GTR is a result of a collaboration between Specter Werkes and Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. Lingenfelter provided a twin-turbo system that takes power of the 7.0L LS7 engine to a whopping 800-hp. 0-60 mph and top speed figures were not released but we’re pretty sure they’re nothing short of impressive.

Other than that, Specter Werkes added some styling kits that makes this Z06 look much more aggressive than the stock Corvette ZR1.

NEWEST CORVETTE GTR FROM SPECTER WERKES/SPORTS DEBUTS AT SEMA WITH HRE CARBON FIBER WHEELS AND LINGENFELTER TWIN-TURBO SYSTEM

TROY, Mich. – The latest Corvette GTR by Specter Werkes/Sports debuts Nov. 3 at the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Distinguished by its unique, BASF Pearl Blue exterior color and HRE CF40 carbon fiber wheels, the newest GTR will be on display outside the Las Vegas Convention Center’s Central Hall, as a feature vehicle for HRE.

Based on the Corvette Z06, this new GTR also represents a collaboration between Specter Werkes and Lingenfelter Performance Engineering, with a Lingenfelter twin-turbo system powering the car – and pumping its 7.0-liter LS7 engine to 800 horsepower.

“Specter GTRs have been featured at SEMA for many years and we’re excited to debut the most unique example to date at this year’s show,” said Jeff Nowicki, president of Specter Werkes/Sports. “From the BASF pearl paint and HRE carbon wheels, to the Lingenfelter engine, there’s never been a GTR like this one and we think it will resonate with sports car enthusiasts of all stripes.”

Featuring dramatic bodywork and carbon fiber details, the GTR blends racing-inspired design cues with uncompromising luxury and performance. The Specter Werkes/Sports GTR package is available on all C6 Corvette models, including the base coupe and convertible, the Z06 and ZR1. The new, Pearl Blue example’s carbon fiber wheels and other carbon accents are complemented by a matte black rear fascia.

The use of HRE carbon fiber wheels is a first on a GTR. They weigh only 22 pounds apiece and are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 Zero Pressure tires. Additional features on the new GTR include:

• StopTech STR big-brake package, featuring six-piston front calipers and four-piston rear calipers
• Mobil 1 synthetic fluids
• Corsa exhaust system with GTR-specific exhaust tips
• Spinneybeck hand-tipped leather interior accents
• Matte-finish carbon fiber accents, including the headlamp housing, front splitter, outside mirrors and more

At the 2009 SEMA event next week, StreetConcepts will give a Pearl White 2009 Hyundai Genesis sedan a custom “one-of-a-kind graphic” live at the show. The move marks the eighth consecutive year Hyundai has partnered with Street Concepts.

Detroit-based graphic designer Courtney Mason will complete the work with paint pens.

In addition to the custom graphic, Street Concepts Genesis features 3M carbon fiber roof panels, black chrome accents, and upper and lower spoilers from RKSport.

Street Concepts and Designer Courtney Mason Bring an Artistic Display to the Show Floor

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., 10/28/2009 - Hyundai Motor America and Street Concepts, one of the leading developers of auto show vehicles, bring custom vehicle design live to the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show with a paint demonstration on a Genesis sedan. Detroit-based illustrator and graphic designer Courtney Mason will paint a one-of-a-kind graphic on a Pearl White Street Concepts Genesis sedan in Hyundai’s display at the Las Vegas Convention Center Nov. 3–6, 2009 (booth #24387). This marks the eighth consecutive year Hyundai has partnered with Street Concepts.

Using special paint pens, Mason will place her signature stamp on a “blank canvas” Genesis sedan. Mason’s illustrations are typically figurative and inspired by organic forms found throughout nature. As the co-founder of Studio Jellyfish (http://www.studiojellyfish.com), Mason has worked with clients such as Nokia, Motorola, Sony BMG, VH1 and Rockstar Games.

In addition to the graphic, the Street Concepts Genesis exterior will be outfitted with 3M carbon fiber roof panels, black chrome accents by Chrome Tech, and upper and lower spoilers from RKSport. The vehicle will boast upper and lower E&G front mesh grilles also finished in black chrome by Chrome Tech. Interior features include custom suede and piano black detailing as well as carbon fiber dash accents.

“The Genesis sedan serves as the perfect platform for a one-of-a-kind high-performance vehicle at SEMA,” said Shawn Williams, owner, Street Concepts. “We were able to capitalize on what the Genesis already has to offer – smooth lines, luxurious interior features and a world-class Tau V8 engine – to create a customized vehicle sure to inspire the tuner crowd.”

The custom Genesis will showcase Nutek Series 530 22-inch wheels featuring Chrome Tech black chrome wheel centers with black lips and General Exclaim UHP tires. Eibach lowering springs, Brembo brakes and a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust will further enhance the performance of the standard 4.6-liter V8 engine, improving on the impressive 375 horsepower pumped out by the factory engine.

Audio and video enhancements will include a custom Harman International audio system, Nav-TV interface and Vizualogic headrest monitors.

“Matching the sophisticated design of the Genesis sedan with the artistic ability of Courtney Mason and the show-car experience of Shawn Williams created a ‘dream team’ for SEMA,” said Michael Deitz, manager, Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America. “Inspired by the creative minds involved in the project, we decided to showcase the final design of the vehicle live on the showroom floor to involve the SEMA crowd in the experience.”

Many would agree that at 300-hp, the 2009 Ford Focus RS is already one of the hottest high-performance hatchbacks on the road. However, if you’re Loder1899, the Focus RS could use a little more horsepower.

Loder1899’s 2009 Focus RS pumps a total of 345-hp from the 2.5L turbocharged 5-cylinder engine, an increase of 45-hp over the base model.

Loder1899 also added a stainless-steel exhaust system, which consists of a Y-pipe, Sportkats, and there is Vorschall silencer. The tuner says that the system provides an increase of 20-hp and a deeper sound than the original Focus RS. A 35mm suspension-lowering package is also part of the whole package along with 20-inch “Vertigo Viginti” wheels.

We absolutely love the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro and we respect the old Pontiac Trans Am as a true American sports car. However, you will never catch us transforming a perfectly good 2010 Camaro to pay tribute to the Pontiac Trans Am. Well, Lingenfelter seems to disagree.

Las Vegas and most of the tuner industry is getting ready for the 2009 SEMA Show next week. The folks at SpeedFactory will come to the show with their new supercharged, all-aluminum 440 HEMI-powered Dodge Challenger.

SpeedFactory took the 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8 with a 6.1L HEMI Mopar aluminum block and increased the displacement to 440 cu. in. (to 7.2L). With a Vortech V3 centrifugal supercharger and other modifications, output was increased to a whopping 700-hp.

Complimenting the increase in performance is a Mopar Performance NAG 1 transmission, Mopar Performance fuel rails, Moroso coolant tank and oil pan, Getrag IRS with 1000 HP half-shafts, Corsa stainless steel cat back exhaust system, performance springs, sway bars, and additional strut tower braces, 15-inch Brembo 6 piston front disc brakes and Bridgestone R Compound tires mounted on 20-inch BS Black Edition CH-R wheels.

Atlanta, GA – SpeedFactory, a top-tier modern muscle car builder, will introduce the first modern supercharged, all-aluminum, 440 Hemi-powered Challenger at the upcoming SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, Nov 3-6, 2009.

The SpeedFactory prepared 2009 SRT8 Challenger is powered by a bored and stroked 6.1L Hemi Mopar aluminum block, increasing the displacement to 440 cu. in. (7.2 liters). It includes CNC ported Mopar aluminum heads and a completely forged rotating assembly. A Vortech V3 centrifugal supercharger boosts the output of this reliable, modern Mopar power plant to 700HP on premium-grade 91 octane pump fuel.
