During a photoshoot at the Isle of Man, the Nissan GT-R was rear-ended by an Audi that couldn’t hit the brakes in time. The team quickly got to repairing Godzilla just in time before it made its Goodwood Festival of Speed appearance . Shh, don’t tell anyone.

Full U.S. Top Gear episodes will be available online

While YouTube may be fulfilling our weekly Top Gear needs here and there, episodes on the giant video site disappear after BBC learns that they have popped up online. It’s a very depressing feeling when you click the play button and see the words “This video is no longer available.”

According to the NBC web site, the online features of the U.S. version of Top Gear include full streaming episodes and an other feature called ”after market” accessory of the week that we could care less about. Nonetheless, its nice to hear that we can catch up on our U.S. Top Gear episodes if we miss them the night the air due to our addiction of blogging.

Check out the last of the three in this two part clip from YouTube. Of course, as with every YouTube clip, it may not be available later - so don’t do that “I’ll save this for later” thing.

Video: How good is U.S. Top Gear’s Tanner Foust?

BBC and NBC announced the Top Gear lineup for the stateside earlier this week. Playing Jeremy Clarkson’s roll in the U.S. will be comedian Adam Corolla; HGTV’s Eric Stromer will be playing James May; Richard Hammonds roll will be handled by Tanner Foust. Of course, that is our take on the lineup and that’s just how it’s going to be.

Who is Tanner Foust and how good is he? Foust is a famous champion in rally, drift and ice racing. He’s seen major success in Drift and Rally in the last few seasons. Foust holds the 2007 X Games Rally Gold Medal and is 2007’s Formula Drift Pro Drift champion.

Want to see Tanner Foust drift. Check out the video after the jump. Thanks to our friends at Garage419 for the tip. After watching this, we’re really looking forward to the American version of Top Gear.

NBC and BBC confirm Top Gear hosts for the U.S.

It is finally official. After all the speculation and rumors, NBC and BBC have officially confirmed the hosts of Top Gear America. Leading the NBC pilot of the international hit series will be comedian Adam Carolla, rally champion and drift racer Tanner Foust and… wait what? Eric Stromer? Yes, that’s right - HGTV’s host of “Over Your Head” will be the third team member of Top Gear on the stateside (let’s hope he’ll be the James May of the show).

Of course we were wondering what Jeremy Clarkson had to say about all of this. When asked, Clarkson said: “This is fantastic news - but how on earth you lot are going to do it on the wrong side of the road I’ve no idea.”

Hate it or love it, this is your lineup. Let us know what you think in the comments section below. Oh and just in case you’re wondering, NBC and BBC have yet to set a firm date on when the show will make its debut.

BBC asked to kick off Clarkson after he admits driving 186mph on public roads

Every time we write about Jeremy Clarkson, we always think what would happen if he and Simon Cowell exchanged some words. Anyway our main Top Gear man can’t seem to stay out of the news and this time, well almost all the time, for being bluntly honest.

Road safety campaigners are urging BBC to kick Clarkson off Top Gear after he admitted to driving over 186mph on public roads. During his recently famous interview at Hay Festival in Powys, where the 48-year old revealed that he will be racing a bullet train in Japan while driving a Nissan GT-R in the next season of Top Gear, Clarkson claimed he’s driven 120mph over the nations speed limit.

50,000 people want Clarkson as prime minister of Britain

Of course Jeremy thinks the idea is ‘bloody’ ridiculous and that he would be a ‘rubbish leader.’ And yes, if we were Jeremy Clarkson and had to decide between joining politics or test driving some of the most amazing cars in the world - we’d think the same exact thing.

However, people have spoken and Top Gear fans still believe that Clarkson would be perfect for the job. A Facebook group consisting of more than 1,000 people is calling for him to run UK.

Top Gear films in Abu Dhabi with 3 Bugatti Veyrons (one Pur Sang)

The next season of our favorite show in the world, Top Gear, is just around the corner and Executive Producer Andy Wilman today gave us an idea of what to expect for series 11. Clarkson, Hammond and May will go to war with the German version of Top Gear with a very exciting race between the ‘RS6 against the most suicidal of skiers.’ The Top Gear crew will also put the new Mitsubishi Evo X against the new Impreza, get behind the wheel of the Mercedes-Benz CLK Black Series and may even get to drive the Mazda Furai concept.

Wilman also told us that the team has come up with another ‘big race.’ Last season we saw the Veyron go up against a fighter jet, however this time it won’t be too crazy and will be more realistic.

Hold it right there! While writing this we were browsing through our RSS reader and to our surprise, Top Gear was supposedly in Abu Dhabi this past weekend and lucked out with three Bugatti Veyrons for filming. Originally, the Top Gear Magazine was in town for a photo shoot when it sent out a request for a Bugatti Veyron. Instead, Top Gear was offered not one but three Veyrons, one of them being the exclusive Bugatti Pur Sang (of which only 5 units were produced).
