Seeing even one supercar start up its engine in front of you gives you goosebumps – but how about seeing 22 supercars start-up? That’s what we have here courtesy of a YouTube video by hannes911.

Among the supercars you’ll see in the video include the Lamborghini Gallardo, Lamborghini Murcielago, Ferrari 458 Italia, Ford GT, Pagani Zonda, Koenigsegg Agera R and many more. Personally, I think the Pagani sounds the best.

Top 10 Hot Steering Wheels We’ll See in 2012

We’ve already brought you two interesting lists of Top 37 Brand New Vehicles To Look Forward to in 2012 and Top 16 Redesigned Vehicles You’ll See in 2012 – we are now bringing you an unconventional list that you probably won’t see else where – Top 10 Hot Steering Wheels We’ll See in 2012.

The very first cars were steered with a tiller, but in 1894, a man named Alfred Vacheron took part in the Paris-Rouen race with a Panhard 4-hp model, which had been fitted with a steering wheel. Ever since, that has been believed to be one of the earliest adoptions of the steering wheel principle.

Many years later, the steering wheels as evolved in many ways – adding cruise control buttons and other multifunctional buttons that allow you to control a lot of features in a vehicle. We don’t know about you but the first and foremost thing we look for in an interior of a car is the steering – it has to fit perfectly in our hands and be very comfortable (fat and juicy steerings preferred). Hey, let’s be honest here, your hands spend most of their life on a steering wheel – well, that’s if you have a license.

Either way, we decided to put together a list of Top 10 Hot Steering Wheels We’ll See in 2012 and most of them turn out to be steering wheels found on high-performance sports cars and supercars. The only two steering wheels on our list that don’t appear on a high-performance car are the 2012 Hyundai Veloster Steering and the 2012 BMW 3 Series M Sport Package steering wheel.

So you’re in the market for a brand new vehicle and are wondering if you should pull the trigger within the next couple of days/weeks or whether you should hang on to see what new vehicles will be coming out in 2012.

Lucky for you, we’ve put together a list of 37 brand new vehicles that will be hitting U.S. roads next year (some might start showing up a little earlier). Mated to a 7-speed sequential cross transmission with AMT robotic system driving programs, the 2,970 pound Huayra is capable of hitting a top speed of 230 mph. Prices start at $1.35 million.

Unfortunately, Leno couldn’t drive the car since it’s super-expensive but he did get to ride shotgun with Horatio, which is a privilege it self.

Pagani officially announces 2013 launch for Huayra after clearing up NHTSA trouble

Pagani has been hitting the news quite a bit, especially since they’ll be making their official debut in the US for the first time ever. However, as we’ve announced before, Pgani has been having trouble clearing some legalities up with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Despite these setbacks, Pagani has officially confirmed that its latest and greatest supercar, the Zonda-replacing Huayra, will be making its way on US soil.

In a recent email interview, Pagani decided to clear up some loose ends in terms of its US launch, mostly pertaining to the controversy with the advanced air bag mandate that’s keeping the Pagani launching on time in the US.

“The fundamental motivation for our exemption request concerned having to prioritize our budget (we have to remember that this was happening at the start of a period of global economic uncertainty). And keep in mind, this exemption had already been given to companies such as Bugatti, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Koenigsegg and Spyker,” said Pagani in the email.

According to Pagani, they submitted a request for the airbag exemption three years ago and didn’t receive an answer until the 29th of July this past year. And despite the troubling news for Pagani, they said that they were able to speed up development of their airbag system, which threatened to push Pagani’s US debut all the way back to 2015. But because they caught up real fast with the NHTSA denial, Pagani said that they are pretty much back on track to start US deliveries in early 2013, versus the late 2012 projected date prior to the denial.

Report: Pagani denied air bag exemption in US delaying launch

For the first time ever, Pagani Automobili SpA will be officially selling a model here in the US of A. However, there happen to be some bumps in the road for the Huayra’s journey here to the United States. Just recently, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration denied Pagani an exemption from mandated advanced air bags.

Supposedly, all cars sold in the US have to have special advanced air bags that use sensors to adjust the air bag’s deployment force depending on the occupants’ height and weight. Tesla Motors and Lamborghini along with Pagani have repeatedly been exceptions in the past five years.

“Although Pagani has realized profits in recent years, the company asserted that immediate compliance with the advanced air-bag requirements will cause substantial economic hardship,” said the NHTSA in a statement. “Pagani stated that the company only operates on the cash on hand without lines of credit or debt financing, and its small profit margin is necessary to guard it from market fluctuations.”

Video: EVO Magazine shows us flappy active aerodynamics in the Pagani Huayra

One of the coolest things about the new Pagani Huayra is 6.0 liter twin-turbo V12 making 700-hp. However, what’s more interesting are the flaps in the back that help you stay on the ground.

The 6.0 liter twin-turbo in the Huayra allows you to hit a top speed of 230 mph, meaning you’ll be going faster than the speed of a commercial airliner before it takes off. To help you not take off into the sky, the Huayra has four control flaps on the car’s corners that rise and fall in to keep you grounded at such high speeds.

Pagani Huayra designer dreams of his own electric supercar

What does the designer of Pagani Automobili do during his spare time? Draws up his vision of a brand-agnostic electric sports car called the Electrodinamycs Concept.

Antonio Bruno, the designer of the famous Pagani Huayra, has put together an electric supercar that proposes the idea of having four inboard-mounted permanent-magnet electric motors connected to the wheels by drive shafts.

If that’s not enough information for you, we have to apologize here since Antonio didn’t give anymore details about the car. We’re guessing he’s just having some fun.

Pagani announces U.S. dealer network of two showrooms that will sell Huayra

Pagani Automobili SpA has announced its dealership network for the United States. Only two dealerships, The Auto Gallery of Beverly Hills and British Motor Cars in San Francisco, will be selling the company’s latest model, the Pagani Huayra.

“Both dealerships will begin taking orders for the Huayra in mid-2011, with the first customer deliveries expected for early 2012,” Pagani said. “The announcement of the two dealers marks the first time U.S. enthusiasts will have the opportunity to obtain a Pagani automobile in the states.”

Why is Pagani only starting with two dealers? Because each Pagani Huayra is hand-crafted and takes about two months to built, so with two dealers, Pagani will be ensuring it can actually fulfill the orders it receives to create a pleasant experience for both dealers and the customer.

If the fact that Pagani will be launching in the U.S. with only two dealers had you shocked, the best is yet to come. Due to its limited production, neither dealer will stock a Huayra. But Pagani said that it plans to have a demo car in the U.S. that will be made available for select events, customer viewings and possible dealer events starting in 2012.

Pagani said that it is evaluating adding more dealers to its U.S. network in the future and will announce additional plans throughout 2011.

The Pagani Zonda saw a lot of different variants and special-edition models and there is no doubt that the Italian supercar maker will do the same with their new Pagani Huayra model.

In a recent interview, founder Horacio Pagani was asked whether or not there will be a roadster version of the new Pagani Huayra, to which he replied: “Yes, surely there will be a model Huayra Roadster in approximately three years.”
