Mazda has confirmed that it will be bringing its popular Mazda2 to the United States in fall of 2010. Mazda told its dealers at a national meeting in Palm Spring, California that the U.S. based Mazda2 will be unveiled at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show in December with a minor facelift.

Mazda has no plans for electric-vehicles until battery technology improves
