Chrysler expects profit in 2011, will repay U.S. loans by 2014

Fiat 500 with a 1.4L Mutliair coming in 4th quarter of 2010

Senior Vice President of Chrysler Powertrain, Paolo E. Ferrero, said that the Fiat 500 will be available in the North American market with a 1.4L Multiair engine in the fourth quarter of 2010. A 1.4L Multiair turbo will arrive in the fourth-quarter of 2011, Ferrero said.

Speaking today at Chrysler’s 5-year business plan conference, Jeep brand CEO Mike Manley said that the SUV brand will use Fiat-supplied platforms starting 2013.
