Yes, we know we hardly post on Citroen news, but we thought we’d try a little something different, and interesting, today. Citroen is showing off their new Citroen Nemo Concept at the 2007 Bologna Motor Show, a car which Citroen says ” illustrates the astonishing closeness between the Citroen Nemo and its clown fish homonym.”

The Citroen Nemo concept is nothing more than a design study which expresses ‘fun looks, bright colors and unrestrained humor.”

Saab, Alfa and Citroen prepare to take on Germany's Big 3

Germany’s Big 3, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi make up about 86 percent of the upper-class mid-size sedan market. Next year, Mercedes-Benz will drop their new 2009 E-Class while Audi will debut the high-performance version of the Audi A6, the Audi RS6. BMW, on the other hand, is working on a new 5-Series. However, Alfa Romeo, Saab and Peugeot are getting ready to take on the Big 3 with their own mid-size sedans that may give the superiors something to worry about.

Saab is working on a new 9-5 that is expected to debut in autumn of 2008, most likely at the 2008 Frankfurt Auto Show. With front-wheel-drive, the next-generation Saab 9-5 is expected to be powered by a four-cylinder engine producing up to 200 horsepower, and a range-topping 2.8 liter V6 turbocharged engine producing up to 300 horsepower. It will be based on the Aero X concept shown above.
