When Jaguar introduced the XF sedan in the U.S. market it started by offering three different choices including a 300-hp base model, a 385 XF Premium model and now, the top-of-the-line 510-hp V8 XFR (recently upgraded). Well, that has left a sizable gap between the XF Premium and the XFR.

Jaguar has now announced that it is adding a fourth member to the XF lineup with the 2010 XF Supercharged. Power comes from an uprated version of the 5.0L supercharged AJ-V8 Gen III engine making 470-hp with a maximum torque of 424 lb-ft. 0 to 60 mph comes in just 4.9 seconds.

Pricing for the Jaguar XF lineup is as follows:

- 4.2L naturally aspirated XF (300 hp): $52,000 MSRP
- 5.0L naturally aspirated XF Premium (385 hp): $57,000 MSRP
- 5.0L supercharged XF Supercharged (470 hp): $68,000 MSRP
- 5.0L supercharged XFR (510 hp): $80,000 MSRP

2010 Jaguar XF Supercharged:

General Motors, which is hoping to come out of bankruptcy by August, is struggling to keep up with the demand for the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro. According to GM spokesman Terry Rhadigam, the automaker has filled about half of the 25,000 2010 Camaro orders taken.

GM began producing the 2010 Camaro in March and sold a total of 5,463 units in May.

According to a report form Kelley Blue Book, the 2010 Camaro is being sold with no incentives with prices starting at $22,995 for the V6 model and $30,995 for the V8 Camaro SS.

“It is actually commanding a premium right now, as it is selling slightly above MSRP,” said Kelley Blue Book spokeswoman Joanna McNally. “Camaros are currently selling for nearly $500 above MSRP.

2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS:

The Mustang’s favorite tuning firm Shelby Automobiles has unveiled its new Super Snake package for the 2010 Ford Shelby GT500. The new Super Snake package, to be built in limited numbers, offers enhancements that gives the 2010 Shelby GT500 better handling, styling and higher output ranging from 630-hp to 725-hp.

The prices for the 630-hp package starts at $29,495 (not including the 2010 Shelby GT500) and $33,495 for the 725-hp package. Exclusivity of each unit will be assured as a limited number of Super Snakes will be built at the Shelby’s Las Vegas facility starting later this August.

2010 Ford Shelby GT500 Super Snake:

Ford announced today that it has added a new trim-level to the 2010 Ford Lincoln MKZ for those that want an even more luxurious MKZ. The 2010 Lincoln MKZ with the Executive Appearance Package offers more luxury appointments such as a genuine walnut wood trim and standard Navigation with Sirius Travel Link.

Inside, the 2010 Lincoln MKZ Executive Appearance Package is available with Dark Charcoal or Cashmere color, leather-trimmed seats, a unique door trim with stitching, genuine swirl walnut wood instrument panel accents and console and premium front and rear floor mats with the Lincoln star. Exterior colors include, Tuxedo Black, White Platinum, Brilliant Silver, Sterling Gray and Sangria Red.

Power still comes from the award-winning 3.5L V6 Duratec engine that produces 263-hp and a maximum torque of 249 lb-ft. EPA-estimated fuel-economy comes in at 18/27 mpg (city/highway) for the front-wheel drive MKZ.

Best Car puts together a rendering of a production Honda CR-Z Hybrid: Japan’s Best Car magazine has taken a shot at a computer rendering that gives us our first look at the production version of the Honda CR-Z Hybrid. Best Car, which calls the production model the CR-ZX, says that the next hybrid from Honda will be powered by a modified version of the Insight’s hybrid system combining a 1.5L gasoline engine. - Best Car (via CarScooop)

2009 Nissan Cube Test Drive update: If you don’t know by now you need to visit us more often. I’m driving the 2009 Nissan Cube this week as our press car and so far I’ve managed to get a 5-year old girl to hate it, learned how to park it and averaged 26.1 mpg. Today, while getting some grub from the drive-thru at Wendy’s, I found the best feature on the 2009 Nissan Cube - the cup holder hiding on the left side of the steering wheel. Jaguar has released two new teasers for the upcoming 2010 XJ, which will be revealed earlier next month.

The first video features Matt Jones, Technical Specialist for Audio Systems at Jaguar, talking about the new XJ’s Bowers & Wilkins audio system. The second video features Mark White, Chief Technical Specialist for Body and Engineering, talking about sustainability of the Jaguar XJ due to its aluminum spaceframe.

Joining its siblings, the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox and the 2010 Cadillac SRX, the 2010 GMC Terrain will go on sale in North American dealerships in September.

Pricing for the 2010 GMC Terrain starts at $24,995 for the front-wheel drive model and $26,745 for the all-wheel-drive model (both prices include a $745 destination and freight charge).

The base entry-level 2010 Terrain SLE1 is powered by a 2.4L 4-cylinder direct-injected engine making 182-hp. Mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, the Terrain delivers an EPA-estimated high fuel-economy of 32 mpg.

Pricing for the top of the line 2010 Terrain SLT2 starts at $29,995. Power comes from a 3.0L direct-injected V6 making 264-hp. The Terrain SLT2 features leather seating, a premium Pioneer sound system, a power liftgate, sunroof and a special chrome appearance package. Optional features like integrated navigation system and a rear-seat DVD infotainment system.

2010 GMC Terrain:

Ford’s marketing team for the F-150 is really busy these days with the “Raptor - Born in Baja” documentary film that shows the development and the racing heritage of the Raptor program at last year’s Baja 1000.

According to Mark Grueber, Ford’s marketing manager for the F-150, Ford has received more than 1,000 orders for the 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. Not bad for a pickup that starts at $38,995.

“Last year, when we were getting ready to reveal the Raptor, it was a very difficult sales environment,” Grueber told PickupTrucks.com. “In some ways, even more difficult than today. Gas prices were over $4 a gallon. Now that fuel prices have come down, we’ve seen a lot of interest in the Raptor. The [number of] orders is higher than we expected.”

The current 2009 BMW 7-Series, known as the BMW F01, went into production in September 2008 so we don’t expect any changes coming to the model anytime soon. Nonetheless, there will be may additions and facelifts before BMW decided to completely redesign its flagship sedan. For the 2010 model year, the BMW 7-Series is getting a new diesel choice and an M Sports Package - a first for the 7-Series.

Later this autumn, the European market will get a BMW 740d featuring BMW’s new straight 6-cylinder diesel engine with TwinPower Turbo Technology that pumps out 306-hp and a peak torque of 422 lb-ft. 0 to 62 mph comes in just 6.3 seconds with a top speed electronically limited to 155 mph.

For the first time ever, the BMW 7-Series is getting its own M Sports Package that provides the 7-Series with an Aerodynamics Package, additional chrome trim on the front and rear aprons, illuminated M entry trim and BMW Individual High-Gloss Shadow Line. Other features include exclusive Carbon Black Metallic paintwork, 19 to 20-inch M light-alloy wheels, electronically controlled BMW Dynamic Drive, an M leather steering wheel and much more.

The BMW M Sports Package is available for all models in the BMW 7 Series with both normal and extended wheelbase.

Kia announced today that it is rolling out an all-new special edition for the Soul and we’re expecting this to be the first of many Kia Soul special-edition models to come. The 2010 Denim Kia Soul features a unique exterior denim color, white side-view mirrors with matching 18-inch alloy wheels, front fender indicator lights, a rear spoiler and white-racing stripes.

Based on the Soul+ model, the 2010 Denim Soul comes with an Audio Upgrade Package, an iPod connection cable for full functionality via the radio head unit and steering wheel controls, carpeted floor mats, moonroof and fog lights.

Prices for the 2010 Kia Denim Soul start at $17,300 with a 5-speed manual and $18,250 with an automatic.
