Report: 2015 Subaru Legacy Sedan Revealed

This has the grille from a Ford Taurus and bears a strong resemblance to the Kia Cadenza, so, you’d never guess it, but this is the new Subaru Legacy, leaked just a couple days before its official reveal at the Chicago Auto Show on the February 6. It is unclear as to whether this will be an indication of the future Outback wagon’s aesthetics or not. Subaru is obviously playing very conservative and is making attempts to unify the look of their current lineup.

For those seeking an all wheel drive sedan with some of the handling characteristics of an entry level european luxury car, but with Japanese reliability, the Legacy is no longer a compromise. Gone are the awful plastic surfaces that give many Japanese cars their reputation, in are higher grade finishes and switchgear. It is unclear as to whether or not the Legacy will come standard with leather and the appointments shown here, but even if it does not, everything indicated in these press photos seems worthwhile. At this point, powertrain options, and really any other options are not apparent, stay tuned for the upcoming reveal.
