Photo Rendering: Is this the new Jaguar F-Type coupe in production form?

AutoBlog seems to have stumbled upon what appears to be some renderings of would be the coupe version of Jaguar’s much-anticipated and drop-dead gorgeous F-Type sports car. The photos were originally published on Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport. Britain’s leaping cat has already unveiled the production convertible, but has set up the inaugural years for the F-Type to feature the convertible only.

However, rumors in the past have indicated that Jaguar is indeed working on a coupe version. Additionally, if you consider how the F-Type started life as a concept in the form of the Jaguar C-X16, it was originally a coupe to boot.

That said, AutoBlog’s find may indicate what the future F-Type coupe could look like. Word also is that these renderings came from a patent filing by Jaguar.

No official comment from Jaguar has been noted, though there shouldn’t be much doubt that a coupe version is on the way.
