The loss of Paul Walker hasn’t stopped the Fast & Furious franchise as the team swore to produce another three additional movies to the already extensive collection. With the latest development from Entertainment Weekly, word is Charlize Theron will join the team roster for the next film to act out as the movie’s antagonist, the super-villain in the next installment.

To be called Fast & Furious 8 (yes there will have been eight movies when the next one surfaces), Theron will basically be the baddest woman of the movie. She finally approved after seeing the script as reports indicate Theron was approached about the role early on, but withheld her commitment until the script was nearing completion.

With Theron on board, the Fast & Furious all-star gains another along side the original crew featuring Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, and Tyrese Gibson.

Fast & Furious 8 is scheduled to launch in theaters on April 17th, 2017.
