Recalls: Hyundai’s recalling some 2011 Sonata sedans for power steering failures

Hyundai teamed up with the NHTSA to issue a recall for some 173,000 units of the 2011 Sonata sedan in the US market for failures with the power steering system.

The culprit was identified as a potentially broken circuit board, causing a total colossal failure the entire unit.

All cars will be repaired by the dealer and happily, no accidents have been reported in relation to the issue. The cars affected are of the 2011 model year, built before October 2010.
