Ever since the Buick Avista luxury sports coupe concept showed up at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show, Buick went ahead and crushed our dreams and anticipations by saying they weren’t going to make it.

It’s sad because the Avista is probably the best looking car to come from the automaker that’s not 100% an Opel. However, reports have been bouncing back and forth suggesting otherwise to Buick’s word, such as Buick can make the Avista, but it chooses not to. Or that they can, but the car isn’t a priority.

Nonetheless, Buick decided to reintroduce the Avista for the New York audience, complete with a new seductive red hue to boost the car’s appeal even more.

Not much has changed otherwise for the Avista as the car remains the same, along with the message. Dear Buick, please make it.

Yo GM Bean Counters……Your Avg. Age Buick Customer is 50+ !

We want to buy a CLASSY looking car like the Avista — NOT — the BOY RACER Camaro (which looks great, if I was 25 again!)

Here’s what i don’t get. Buick made two great concepts, the Avenir and the Avista but wont make them. Both cars would be sure fire hits in America and although a V8 engine is nice, neither one needs a V8. They could easily take the twin turbo 3.0L V6 with 400hp and make it the base model and use the ATS-V 3.6L Twin turbo V6 pushing 465hp and make it the top of the line model with the new 10-speed auto, brembos magnetic ride, etc and have two awesome vehicles in their lineup. I don’t get it at all.
