The Dubai Police get a new addition to the fleet–a Porsche 918 Spyder

Were you thinking of robbing a bank in the near future? Well, don’t do it in Dubai, if that’s where you’re planning your high-speed escape, because the Dubai Police just received a new addition to their fleet–a new Porsche 918 Spyder.

Despite the addition of the 918 to the fleet, Dubai still wouldn’t be a good place to get into a high-speed run-in with the law because even without the 918 Spyder, your chances of winning, escaping, or whatever, are near slim-to-none. That’s because the Dubai Police fleet still consists of a Lamborghini Aventador, an Aston Martin One-77, a Bentley Continental GT, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, and even a Bugatti Veyron.

For those who don’t even stand a chance, they can even be nice, thanks to a Renault Twizy that’s also in the fleet, you know, just to humiliate you even more.

None of the cars are used though for serious police work, but there are still some middling cars in the fleet, including a BMW M6 Grand Coupe, Ferrari FF, a Roush Ford Mustang, and Chevrolet Camaro.

But should the hammer come down for a need to curtail a super high-speed chase, they probably wouldn’t be afraid to use the cars.
