Report: Land Rover’s supposed Bentley Bentayga competitor to cost more than $200k

Land Rover’s not particularly happy about Bentley producing the Bentayga, which could potentially steal sales away from the other proverbial luxury crossover SUV, the legendary Range Rover.

As a result, Land Rover is rumored to respond with an ultra-luxurious version of the Range Rover. The Range Rover could already be had in the super luxurious, range-topping SVAutobiography version, but there could be one that’s even more expensive than that, according to AutoCar.

That’s not all however as word has it the model could be hand-built and feature levels of customization not otherwise offered on the standard Range Rover, even the SVAutobiography version.

The SVAutobiography already starts at a pretty hefty $200,000, just for the price of entry, so this new variant of the Range Rover is expected to cost quite about more to better compete with the Bentley Bentayga.

Not much else is known, but it’ll be interesting to see how the model fares since it’ll also be interesting to see how much people are willing to spend for a Range Rover.
