Some new developments ring in from Motorsports.com, who heard BBC2’s Top Gear UK program might be presented by Chris Evans solely, without any cohosts. This would be one of the biggest changes to the show’s formula following the departure of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May.
Evans not too long ago was confirmed to be the new lead host of Top Gear after signing a three-year deal.
Due for a launch in May of next year, 16 episodes across two seasons have been planned thus far. Though despite the huge changes, rest assured, the Stig will remain to be apart of the program as the crew’s highly dependable, sole tester.
