Bentley claims the new W12-powered Bentayga is the world’s fastest SUV

Bentley is on the hinges of readying to reveal their all-new, hotly-anticipated Bentayga crossover SUV, a first for the Winged-B of Crewe, England. And if any of you were still skeptical of Bentley’s new soccer mom-mobile for the one percent, Bentley released a video claiming that the new Bentayga is the world’s fastest and most powerful SUV.

With that claim, Bentley also released a video of a pre-production prototype topping out at 301 km/h or around 187 MPH, and pretty much beats any crossover SUV out there today.

That also comes thanks to what sits under the hood of the Continental GT-based crossover, the same updated twin-turbocharged 6.0L W12 destined later on for the revised Continental GT, Flying Spur, and even the Audi A8 W12. Power figures are expected to top out at over 600hp with 663 lb-ft of torque to support.

Check out the video after the jump.
