Rolls-Royce previews a new Dawn ahead of Frankfurt

It’s not quite a common occurrence for Rolls-Royce to reveal a completely new model and as a result, the world goes nuts when they do. Alas, we have the first official teasers of the new Dawn convertible, which is anticipated to be a convertible version of the Wraith. Or, if you want to look at the new Dawn from another perspective, it’s basically a shrunken down version of the Phantom Drophead Coupe convertible.

Expected to hit showrooms sometime early next year, the Dawn will sport the same twin-turbocharged BMW-sourced 6.6L V12 and ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic combination as the Wraith.

The result is to allow the new Dawn to sprint to 62 MPH in less than five seconds.

Stay tuned for the full web reveal.
