Report: Bentley in no hurry with making a business case for production EXP 10 Speed 6

When Bentley revealed the gorgeous EXP 10 Speed 6 Concept not too long ago, feedback was astoundingly good, good enough actually for Bentley to consider the model for production.

From what we know, the EXP 10 Speed 6 is a pitch at an all-new entry-level model to double as a Porsche 911 competitor, with other models like the top-sped Jaguar F-Type and Mercedes-AMG GT in its sights.

Though according to Bentley CEO, Wolfgang Durheimer, who spoke to The Detroit Bureau last week at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Bentley’s in no hurry to rush the project into production.

He declined specifics, though Bentley’s currently tied up with their current projects while their parent company, Volkswagen AG, is currently not prioritizing the project. So maybe, demand for it isn’t as intense as we’d anticipated. Additionally, both companies are currently focusing on the reveal and launch of their first crossover, the Bentayga.
