Report: A new Jeep Compass should surface at Geneva next year

The Jeep Compass has been around since 2006 as a 2007 model, which means it’s going on over eight years old and well overdue for a replacement.

That said, British outlet, AutoExpress in the UK recently heard a new Compass could show up at the Geneva Auto Show next March.

Some spy shots surfaced of a Renegade-based test mule, rumored to be a starting point for the next-generation Compass. This could imply the new Compass will be built on a new Fiat-based platform, possibly the same one underpinning the current Renegade.

Not much else is known, but the new Compass might come with the same range of gasoline and diesel fours in the Renegade, with America only getting the turbocharged gas variants.

As of now, the next model to come from Jeep is the highly-anticipated, Range Rover-competing flagship, the new Grand Wagoneer. After that, a new Grand Cherokee should follow.
