Photo Rendering: Is this what a production Toyota FT-1 Concept could look like?

Graphic artist Theophilus Chin (no, for the billionth time, we’re not related) is back at it again with his idea and rendering of what a production Toyota FT-1 Concept could look like. Yup, that would be the supposed Toyota Supra a la BMW-Toyota collaboration we’ve been told to expect for a few years already.

The last we heard of this project was in June, where a trademark filing for the name, “S-FR,” was discovered. That report however didn’t really provide much in the way of any more revealing details about this new Supra successor we’ve been hyped up to expect. Speculation about a BMW-sourced 3.0L turbocharged inline-six with 335hp and a plug-in hybrid version with 473hp remains unchanged.

Either way, Mr. Chin’s rendering gives us a basic idea as to what to expect if the FT-1 Concept was toned down for production reasons, all in the name of meeting safety regulations and standards.

What do you think?
