Report: Lamborghini already mulling high-performance Urus SV

AutoCar recently received the scoop on some more details about the impending Urus crossover SUV arrival from Lamborghini.

In addition to producing their first-ever crossover SUV, Lamborghini’s also apparently looking into an even faster and more powerful model, called the Urus SV, which will naturally follow a similar formula to the Aventador LP700-4 and the Aventador SV.

The normal Urus is scheduled for a debut in 2018 and on top of that, Lamborghin’s CEO, Stephan Winkelmann, hinted at the possible SV version.

In AutoCar’s interview, Winkelmann said that it’s just an idea for now and the prospect is being analyzed. Should it get approved, the Urus SV will be tuned more for road performance rather than versatility and should also receive the Lambo’s first-ever turbocharged motor. It also wouldn’t be ready until 2020.
