Report: Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles pondering the return of the Lancia Delta Integrale

AutoCar lightly reports that FCA may be reviving the Lancia Delta Integrale–yup, you read correctly.

According to the report, FCA is looking for a way to inject some more life into Lancia, who’s been operating quietly, selling rebadged and redesigned Fiats and Chryslers for Europe’s consumption. But they haven’t really sold anything worth mentioning, at least a car that lives up to the famous Lancia name.

Not much is known, but this is an apparent rumor after some FCA employees were overheard discussing its return as a possible “last hurrah” for Lancia, should the company not succeed or be destined for retirement. On the flip side, if properly executed, it could also make Lancia a nameplate to remember for the current times. That would be awesome.
