Report: The new Mercedes-Benz GLC is due to arrive very shortly

Mercedes-Benz is apparently on the brink of revealing their new GLC. And while it may sound like a completely new model by name, it actually is just a mid-cycle refresh of the current GLK. Speaking of which, the current GLK receives said GLC nameplate.

Due for a reveal tomorrow, the new GLC is being renamed from GLK to better differentiate this model from other crossover models in Benz’s lineup.

Among the new name is a list of changes to the to-be-retired GLK, which includes interior upgrades, some option and package revisions, and revised aesthetics all around.

The GLC will also get some new tech, including Merc’s current Air Body Control active suspension, and the latest iteration of 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

Of course, a GLC 63 model is in the works with a 4.0L twin-turbo V8, all to rival the BMW X3 and X4 combo.
