Video: Android Auto surfaces to take on Apple CarPlay

It was only a matter of time until Android was going to match Apple’s move for in-car infotainment integration with existing and future smartphones.

Now, Google made their move to match Apple’s system, CarPlay, with Android Auto.

To showcase what Android Auto does and how it plans to integrate into future cars and smartphones and tablets, CNET took a 2015 Hyundai Sonata–one of the first cars to be made available with Android Auto connectivity–and a smartphone and tried it out.
