Report: The new BMW M2 to be launched later this year with four colors

If you were living under a rock recently, BMW’s on the heels of revealing the much-anticipated M2 later this year as a rather spiritual, but more accessible successor to the original 1-Series M Coupe.

And recently, BMW 2-Series enthusiast site, 2addicts, recently learned the M2’s production will begin in November of this year and will only be offered in a selection of four neutral and somewhat boring colors. What about the lovely Valencia Orange from the previous car?

Those four colors couldn’t be any more stagnant than Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Long Beach Blue, and Mineral Grey, all of which are of the metallic type.

Otherwise, the M2 is expected to don the same N55 motor as the M235i, except massaged to produce 365hp and 343 lb-ft of twist with an overboost function, providing an additional 25 lb-ft of torques.
