The Ford F150 Raptor gets the latest Shelby treatment

Meet the new Ford F150 SVT Raptor. It was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year. Only, this isn’t your ordinary Ford F150 SVT Raptor. It’s a special done-up version by Shelby to produce the Baja 700 Edition.

It gains a new supercharger with a new throttle body, heavier-duty injectors, a heat exchanger, and a Borla Exhaust. The result: over 700 horsepower.

But not everything was updated just under the hood as Shelby also fits three-inch King coilovers, Rogue Racing upper and lower control arms, 18-inch wheels with BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires, and much more.

Only 50 examples will be made, all priced at $45,000, just for the upgrade. Yup, that means you have to buy that on top of the initial purchase price of a 2015 Ford F150 SVT Raptor. So that means this puppy as a whole will cost you around $90,000.
