Report: No expensive models above Range Rover expected from Land Rover

CARandDRIVER spoke with Jaguar-Land Rover’s CEO, Joe Eberhardt, recently at the New York Auto Show.

Then, the magazine learned Land Rover has no plans of a more premium model above the range-topping, uhm, Range Rover, despite the fact Rolls-Royce and Bentley are producing their own crossovers.

That’s also the reason why they’re not stepping up into that market, especially since they already have the Range Rover SVAutobiography, ringing in at $200,000 large.

Either way, Eberhardt made the message from Land Rover pretty clear: it’s not going to get any more premium than a Range Rover for Land Rover.
