Report: Is the Audi RS3 coming stateside?

Audi enthusiasts site, Fourtitude, reports that Audi could be bringing an RS3 sedan to our shores, which sounds like they’re just making the S4 completely pointless from a performance standpoint.

According to the report, Audi of America employees gathered in Maryland for a meeting, where sources were able to provide some hints at to this possibility.

Should this happen, the RS3 sedan would use the European hatch’s 2.5L turbocharged five-banger with around 367hp and 324 lb-ft of twist. Sitting in the transaxle is a seven-speed automatic with quattro all-wheel drive. The estimated result: 0-62 in just 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph or 174 mph.
