Report: The BMW X7 to supposedly get BMW’s nicest interior

BMW is in the process of preparing a new Mercedes-Benz GL competitor, apparently called the X7, as crossovers continue to dominate the market.

Bavaria has been known to be working on a large crossover for quite sometime and even then, Rolls-Royce decided to ride the train of crossover fandom by establishing their own plans to build a crossover to compete with Bentley.

Now, a new report from Motor.es reports the new BMW X7 could have the nicest interior of any BMW ever. The rest of the X7 however is said to be taken from the X5 and X6 parts bin. The platform will be all-new however and will underpin the next-gen BMW 7-Series.

There are also rumors of possible plug-in hybrid versions as automakers continue to reduce their fuel economy ratings.

Either way, the X7 is still slated to arrive in two years as BMW continues to develop the car. Motor.es even speculates the car will have a $130,000 price tag, which is a lot.
