Video: Lexus teases 2016 RX ahead of New York debut
Lexus is gearing up to reveal their most popular selling and crucial model to their lineup: the ever so ubiquitous RX crossover.
The crossover will be entering its four generation when it debuts on April 1st in New York.
Not much is know, but don’t expect much change under the skin since this is Lexus’ most popular selling model–this sort of group is fairly resistant to change. That means the typical use of Toyota’s 3.5L naturally-aspirated V6 with 270hp with a new eight-speed automatic.
Styling however is expected to be modeled after the Japanese-version of the RX, which is called a Toyota Harrier.
Check out the press brief and teaser below.

Lexus will introduce the all-new 2016 RX at the 2015 New York International Auto Show. When the RX model launched 17 years ago, it defined a new luxury segment. Since then, it has dominated mid-size luxury utility vehicle sales. The fourth generation RX will make its global debut at a press conference in the Galleria at Jacob Javits Convention Center on Wednesday, April 1 at 9:10 a.m. EDT. The press conference will also be streamed live at https://new.livestream.com/LexusInternational/NY-2015.
