Report: The Volkswagen Beetle’s future looks bleak
The Volkswagen Beetle might just be Volkswagen’s most iconic model ever and is one of the top most selling cars ever in history. In fact, it’s the bestselling single model ever produced in history.
But now, it seems the future of the Beetle might be in question as Volkswagen’s being forced to eliminate slow-selling models in order to curb costs.
Official word hasn’t been announced, but Germany’s Spiegel says the Beetle, in addition to the Polo, are a couple models Volkswagen is nominating for death row.
Additionally, if you were wishing for an Eos successor, that’s not going to happen either.
