Video: McLaren teases a new sports series, heads to New York
McLaren seems to be readying a new debut at New York next month. They’re apparently revealing a new Sports Series of their cars, which basically means they’re making a more “entry level” range for its lineup.
Some of these cars will be based off of similar architectures as the 650S, the 675LT and the P1 and P1 GTR. It’ll also use the same 3.8L twin-turbocharged V8 but in lesser state of tunes.
But above all, they’ll be more accessible price wise and should hover around the Porsche 911 GT3 and Audi R8’s neighborhood.
