Report: The Chevrolet SS sedan to get a 1LE-like sport package

In the same report cluing in on the next-gen Cadillac SRX’s reveal in New York, MotorTrend learned that the Chevrolet SS sedan should get a 1LE-like sport package to wet the palettes of drivers all around.

It’ll be similar to the Camaro’s track-geared 1LE package, which means stiffer suspension, beefier brakes, thicker front and rear stabilizer bards, in special wheels.

So far, the package seems to be in the middle of being improved. While the SS is a fantastic sports sedan, it still seems to be struggling in the sales department. Let’s hope the added package sweetens the deal. We’re pretty confident it will.
