Report: A new Cadillac SRX successor to show up in New York

MotorTrend heard through some sources that Cadillac is gearing up to reveal a new SRX for New York in April.

The current model’s been with us since 2010 and is rather due for a replacement.

But as per usual tips, the SRX’s details for the new generation are very sparse. Speculation does suggest the use of a new turbocharged 2.0L four in addition to the current 3.6L V6 serving duty right now.

Rumors also exist pitching the possibility of the new model gaining in size as well to fit a third row. This is also supported by the hint that the new SRX should ride on the same platform as the next-generation Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, and the GMC Acadia.
