Report: The production Infiniti Q60 to get in-house 400hp 3.0L twin-turbo V6

AutoGuide recently heard the production Infiniti Q60 is destined to get a completely new twin-turbo 3.0L V6 with around 400hp on tap, designed completely in-house by Nissan themselves.

This comes after a previous rumor from Australia’s Motoring, claimed the new Infiniti Q60 will come with two Mercedes-sourced engines, following Renault-Nissan’s latest partnership with Daimler.

But now, AutoGuide spoke with sources in Infiniti who said one of the premiere gasoline engines for the Q60 is this new 3.0L twin-turbo V6.

The production Q60 is expected to arrive at dealers in 2016 with this new V6 first.
