In addition to the revealing of the new 2016 Nissan Maxima, the Japanese automaker is rumored to be prepping a “never-seen before” NISMO model for a debut at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show in a couple weeks.
As usual, details are in the unknown, but speculation hints at the possible arrival of a Versa Note NISMO, a model that’s already in production and on sale in Japan. Alternatively, it could also be the return of the high-performance Nissan Sentra, following the Sentra NISMO Concept and other past sporty Sentras, like the original SE-R.
But the most far-fetched possibility mentions a NISMO version of the Altima, which could also be a successor to the last Nissan Altima SE-R.
Either way, we won’t know until Nissan shares the details on February 11.
