Test Drive: 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe by AutoNation

Cadillac has undoubtedly done well to turn itself around over the past decade to become more competitive with the relentless competition from Japan and Europe.

One of the latest models to signify this great new era is the all-new Cadillac ATS and ATS Coupe, which are the brand’s first direct competitors to the BMW 3-Series and 4-Series. Designed and geared towards the sporty driver, the ATS rides on GM’s latest Alpha rear-wheel drive platform, the same one found to underpin the current CTS as well.

Power can be provided by a base 2.5L naturally-aspirated four-banger with 202hp and 191 lb-ft of torque, 2.0L turbocharged EcoTec3 four-pot with 272hp and 295 lb-ft of twist or a 3.6L naturally-aspirated V6 good for 321hp and 275 lb-ft. There is an option for a manual rower, but only on the 2.0L turbo model.
