Lexus was one of several automakers to team up with Polyphony Digital, or the guys behind the famous Gran Turismo racing simulator on Sony Playstation. Recently, they teased their contribution to the Vision Gran Turismo concept pool. Now, it’s been fully revealed on Gran Turismo’s site.
It’s obviously based off of the original LF-LC from the 2012 Detroit Auto Show, with the LF-LC rumored to be heading for production. This concept showcases the motorsports version, which Lexus and Toyota are getting more involved with, particularly with Lexus and the RC F GT3.
The LF-LC GT Vision Gran Turismo is similar in concept, alongside its non-motorsports sibling, the original LF-LC Concept. Both designed by Calty Design, are expressions of the evolution of Lexus’ design philosophy.
