Report: GMC might come up with a competitor to the Jeep Wrangler
It seems GMC has a desire to expand its horizons as The Wall Street Journal recently sat in a meeting with dealers, where they learned GM’s luxury SUV branch has plans to build a competitor to the Jeep Wrangler.
Yup, so this means the Professional Grade could be popping up on the trails a lot more frequently.
In what seems like an oxymoronic oddball, the Chevrolet and GMC duo is one of the few remaining examples of badgineering that’s some how survived extinction. Meaning, there’s hardly much in the way of diversity.
So, the plan for GMC is to change that up by creating a new off-roader, which is something GMC doesn’t exactly have in its arsenal, currently. There actually isn’t much offering in the way of off-roaders either, except for the pickup trucks.
Do you think a Jeep Wrangler-competitor from GMC will work?
