Video: Watch people’s reactions to the Tesla Model S P85D’s brutal acceleration

Tesla’s latest iteration of the Model S, or the P85D, has been taking the auto community by storm, mainly because it’s the most powerful Model S ever and because it’s an EV–all of that power is pretty much instantaneous.

How much power are we talking? A combined output of 691hp and a dyno-approved 864 lb-ft of torque. The result is a 0-60 time of just 3.1 seconds and a quarter mile sprint in just 11.6 seconds at 115 mph. And the creepiest thing about it–it does so in an absolutely silent manner…well, sort of.
