Report: Ford’s new Transit becomes best selling van in the US
Ford recently announced some good news for their new Transit van here in the US, which replaces their legendary E-Series/Econoline vans.
According to Ford Motor Company’s latest sales numbers, the Dearborn automaker took the sales crown for best selling van in the US recently, by selling a total of 10,030 units since the Transit’s introduction.
This beats the Chevrolet Express, which sold only 5,611 times in December and Ford’s aforementioned E-Series van moved only 5,256 examples.
The Ford Transit has been received as a breathe of fresh air when compared to Ford’s former E-Series vans, which were beyond ancient and overdue for a replacement.
