Report: Buick confirmed to be introducing new Envision and Cascada convertible at Detroit
AutomotiveNews recently received confirmation from Buick that the anticipated midsize crossover from China, the Envision, and Buick’s new rebadged Opel Cascada convertible are expected to surface at the Cobo Center next week for the North American International Auto Show.
The Envision was first revealed in China, Buick’s most prominent market, as a middling option between the compact Encore and the full-size Enclave. That said, the mission of the Envision remains to be the same.

The Cascada on the other hand is reigniting Buick’s convertible offering, making it the first model of its type from America’s trident in quite a long time.
Specifics weren’t released, but the Cascada is expected to sport a range of turbocharged four-bangers while the Envision should also receive the same engine options, but with more power to handle the extra mass.
