Video: Watch MotorWeek take a nostalgia trip to when they reviewed their favorite BMWs of 1986

MotorWeek decided to dust off some of their archived videos by posting them on YouTube. The latest nostalgia run involves early staffers posting a video review of the E30 BMW 325e and the E24 635CSi from 1986, which in their words, were the most tempting offerings from the famous Bavarian Motor Works, at the time.

Given that these cars are one of the many models which have become cult classics and favorites, watching these reviews is nothing less than spectacular, reassuring our love, and many others’ love, with older models like these, many of which paved the road to their success today.

You can’t deny, BMW’s success as the Ultimate Driving Machine can be attributed greatly to both these models. And either way, this video puts things into perspective as to how far we’ve come.

Check out the video after the jump.
